I like the actual format of the league. The rivalry in premiership between MU, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool wasn't always between those teams, it developped a lot in a short time. Splitting the team as they do in NA doesn't make any sense when it's only 12 teams in the same geographical area and since they don't need a lot of time to recover. I think the rivalries would developp a lot more if there would be more trashtalk, but i think it doesn't happen that much. But well, we don't get all the information about what's going on around PL in Korea, maybe they have interviews and all kind of things but from a foreign point of view, of course it's a soft rivalry. I also like the 4 1v1s, 1 2v2. It's a bit like Davis Cup in tennis, which is my favourite reference in terms of individual sport. Some players won't care about it, some will get better when playing for their team. There's a lot of passion and it's really more about team spirit. "winner stays" format is fun to use in special events but it creates more individual rivalries than team rivalries imo. | ||
