being "not innocent" doesn't mean banging everyday though (or rather, banging at first date, etc). You can just date normally like other 19 year olds (although a lot of 19 year olds are slutty....).
IU has already progressed her career musically though. Imagine someone random person like, i don't know, say eunjung, who is fucking 23 and when she was 21/22 had to dress up as an indian and go "yayaya", pretends to have not gone to clubs, can't date, etc.
Hope IU doesn't turn out to be straight up Hyuna, but she has normal (nonidol) songs and can just be dating normally. Just hope the korean netizens don't go and kill somebody over this.
EDIT: maybe this can blow over entirely; I mean IU's friend jiyeon fucking stripped on a camera and that blew over like nothing.
Innocence is all on the outside anyway, there are very, very few people that don't have dirty thoughts or enjoy a good roll in the hay ever in their lives, and those that never do are generally not very socially well adjusted.
But I don't know how this will affect her image, which is kind of the point of an idol in the first place. You see how much media coverage western celebrities get for relationships, and they don't even try to be "pure" or whatever.
