Nah it goes. Kabukimonogatari, supposed to be about Hachikuji (down to previous book with Hachikuji going: "Look forward to the grand adventures of me and Araragi-san next vol!") was about Shinobu instead. Hanamonogatari was normal, so was Otorimonogatari. Onimonogatari which was supposed to be about Shinobu was about Hachikuji, but not quite, since Shinobu still got more time talking about shit than the latter. MC is definitely Hachikuji though. Then the grand troll of Koimonogatari, which I shall not talk about. On February 20 2012 05:13 MichaelEU wrote: znf called me onii-chan I can die happily now. I was just hoping that since Tsukihi>Karen, she'd get even more banter time during her arc. Guess I'll just have to wait for Nekomonogatari...in a few years. @Blast, lol did you REALLY expect anything out of ZnT? It's actually going slightly better than I expected because I thought it was going to devolve into a hentai. Well the proof of how awesome Tsukihi is came after Nise when Nishio decided that 1, it is Tsukihi's turn to get the long banter (turn based after all), 2, her character actually worked out well enough to take a spotlight in being a main talking character since Gahara-san sells. On February 20 2012 05:00 Rebs wrote: Well yeah if you put it that way, if tsukihi is roughly the same with her getting afflicted with something and going through something akin to what Karen went through. Theres also the fact that other characters can take up space offscreen for things (that they can just simply tease and hint you with) in Bake alot of stuff invariably was forced for better or worse on Koyomi almost all the time, Gahara san, iincho and fire sisters is quite a mix. lol won't spoil so you people will see soon. Keep in mind this is the end of season 1 of the monogatari series and its impact will be felt throughout the rest of the series. Also, very little time w/ Gahara-san since you can argue that nise vol1 has largely concluded her story. Same for a lot of other characters. I am rather happy to see Hayami Saori doing one of the new characters in Tsukihi's story, looking forward to that fake kyoto-ben.

"Hitagi End" implies it's happy and romantic, and more importantly, that there is nothing left to tell about their story. Think TWGOK where Keima always mentions how he can see the ending. End = capture of heroine is complete. Couple that logic with a title of "Koimonogatari" and of course people will think the (happy) ending to a love story. But apparently that was not the case...

Ah, that would make much more sense. As long as she wasn't completely written off the future books I'm fine with that. ![]()

Nah literally it means end of the series, at least that's how most people have taken it probably. At least with the way things had worked out it is hard to suspect an end of the main heroine. Let's just say it was awfully like NTR in a sense. Wasn't a big deal for me because it was only "like" NTR, but anyway, the real troll is narrator.

Have not started it yet, plan to maybe start it(or macross) after I finish going through gundam stuff or at least the UC gundam stuff. Currently about halfway through rewatching 08th ms team. Will get around to posting some nonsense on MSG and war in the pocket at some point.

Is it because of those particle weapons that blowup guns whenever they shoot or something? Zephyr particles is the explanation yes. You shouldn't think too hard about the battlefield logic in LoGH though since most of it makes very little sense.

Heavy weapons like axes generally just tear through swords, literally as both a breaking threat (you can't really safely block a battleaxe with a sword) as well as simply proving more force - if you can knock a guy down you can win, no skill involved. It's cheaper, and more effective. Same goes for spears and such - the length means you don't have to be some expert to stab someone, as you just out-reach them. Furthermore, swords have generally fared badly in tight spaces - that's why in Japan Samurai used to carry a Wakizashi, because indoors the standard katana was too long - you literally could not actually swing it.
