Sure the dwarfs look a bit silly but they're not toys and he is recalling a conversation with the dwarfs that backed him not at the tribe's home. No. It seems the implication was they were all turned into toys. I don't see any you could say for sure is still a dwarf and not a toy.

You don't see any? Not even all the ones that look exactly the same as they did before? Because I can see loads. Leo in particular is given an entire panel.

That was kind of a big turning point for Usopp and if he's forgotten it that would go half-way to explaining why he's running. I still don't like it but at least it would sort of explain it. That would be a pretty cool explanation. Since he can't remember Robin, how much of his memory is gone? Does he remember the little speech Sanji gave him about doing what he can do? If that went away with the loss of Robin, he may have completely reverted back to something he was before because he has lost that growing moment. If that's the explanation for Usopp's behavior, I'd be quite happy.

Usopp is a smart guy, he's running away right now because that's exactly what Usopp does. However, he's going to put two and two together and realize that one of his crew mates has been turned into a toy. This is going to give him the spark needed to go into bad-ass mode and fight very hard. He's done it before, he can do it again. He's going to fight very hard because he's always fought quite hard for the crew. The fruit has its limitations. Even if he doesn't know WHO turned into a toy, he knows it's possible that someone turned into a toy. It's a very interesting set up, I'm just curious how he's going to deal with Trevor in the mean time. Perhaps Robin will fight Trevor; she has no contract so she can fight. Though Robin without the DF is going to be.. a tough fight. Hard to say.

He is not the same with the crazy guys like zoro/luffy that just goes for the brawl. The only person i remember in one piece so far who faces a massively overpowered enemy without fear is Sakazuki.

ur usopp, you find yourself apparently alone facing 2 incredibly powerful enemies, with 0 reasons to fight them (cuz robin & co got turned into toys), as usopp ofc u gonna run like hell

If Usopp got turned into a toy and forgotten, would everyone then also forget about Sogeking? What about Luffy and Chopper who never realized Usopp was Sogeking would they then still remeber Sogeking but not Usopp?

Usopp changes into Sogeking, turns around to fight and gets turned into a toy. Would Luffy and Chopper remember Usopp? Because technically it was Sogeking that turned into a toy?

We all know that Luffy isn't very patient. I think he's gonna jump in and fight mingo before. He gets caught by the strings somehow and then cronos jumps in. (having just been detoyed + Show Spoiler + Yes I made up a new word

Most likely Hakuba will just be remembered as a folk legend, the same way curos the legendary gladiator is now supposedly an ideal fighter invented by the prisoners.

It's like substituting ever instance of that person's name with "someone".
