Since Zoan Fruits give increased physical prowess and Kaidou has the nickname "1000 beasts", I would find it anticlimactic for him to use Haki when he very likely has a pretty awesome Zoan Fruit. Oda is a good story teller and I don't believe he made the yonkou similar at all. We know Shanks has strong Haoshoku Haki and while supposedly all strong characters have awakened Haoshoku Haki, I believe that Shanks is an exception rather than the norm. Whitebeard wasn't shown relying(can't remember if he even openly used it) on Haoshoku Haki during Marineford, but rather on his strong physical combat power as a half-giant and his Quake-fruit. I claim that Shank and Luffy(and most probably Goldroger) are the only people with Haoshoku Haki strong enough for it to be relevant in battle. At the very least I bet that at most 5 people introduced this far even have notable Haoshoku Haki. And I don't think Kaidou is one of those. | ||

Why would Kaidou disguise himself and enter the tournament? What for? Do you think DD wouldn't notice that? I don't get it and i don't buy it.. Tho i would consider a possibility that meadows works for kaidou if it was indeed that one that brought those people down. And btw i'm not sure it's HAKI since it was always stated that only fodder would lose it against King Haki.. How could someone with observation haki like Rebecca and/or Cavendish go down with just that? Great chapter | ||

But I do think there is a high probability of "Meadows" being the winner. And also a high probability of his identity being pretty big and/or significant. | ||
