but wood wood fruit would be so so bad... My sister and me have always joked about the existence of the wood wood fruit and laughed at how much it would suck, haha!

that would be paramecia. Like luffy who is a rubber man. logia is more for fluid elements i think.

Would definitely love to see a mythical Zoan type... Momonosuke ate the artificial devil fruit which turned him into a dragon... maybe Kaidou is a real dragon zoan type??? D:
stronger and rare than even logia... so far we only have sengoku (buddha) and marco (phoenix), makes sense how Kaidou would be so strong

Beast Beast Fruit makes you become a Beast
|
How about some beast that ate a caveman fruit.

I would absolutely not be surprised if he turned out to be Mufasa
Oh btw. Momonosuke has a beastly devil fruit. Watch him join the crew, timeskip 10 years and then Luffy shows up with a monster quartett.

Since he was a topdog of the sun Pirates while roaming Grandline I think he was a lot stronger back then. During Nami Arc he looked like he couldn't even handle Mr5 & higher hes probably the person who put up the biggest fight though until Crocodile Mr.3 was annoying but Luffy handled him easily enough, and he did manage to KO Sanji and Zoro and make it look easy as pie and those 2 went on to beat Mr. 1 and 2 I would say that for each fight, win or lose, people get stronger. However if someone doesn't fight for a while, like Crocodile or Arlong, they get weaker. Arlong putting up a huge fight is also the impression I got, I felt he was the boss of East Blue. So I guess it's indeed possible. Strength may also come from force of will. What are you fighting for? I think that's also a big source of power in One Piece, it also makes sense when you think about it. Huge ass post to explain myself: Arlong was fighting to bully Nami and humans in general, wasn't he? That's a shitty reason to fight. What was Luffy fighting for? His navigator's well being. His nakama. Luffy's reason to fight was much more important to him than Arlong's reason to fight. So when they actually fought, Luffy won. Not only out of actual strength, but because he felt that at that moment, Luffy wanted Nami to be happy much more than Arlong wanted to bully humans. Let's look at Crocodile vs Luffy. Let's disregard actual physical strength for the time being and focus solely on the reason they're fighting. In their first confrontation, Crocodile stabs Luffy and then just leaves him to die/suffer. Luffy gets lucky and gets saved by Robin/Pell. Second fight, Crocodile dries up Luffy and Luffy once again gets lucky and absorbs the water he spat out beforehand. Third fight. Why is there even a third fight? What is the driving force that Luffy has that makes him return to fight someone who effortlessly defeated him twice? Luffy is fighting once again for his nakama. He's fighting for something that Vivi cares deeply about: her kingdom. Luffy's will to help Vivi was so important to him that he went and tried a 3rd time. This time Luffy wins. Why? Third time's the charm? When fighting a friggin' Sichibukai, "third time's the charm" doesn't quite cut it. Let's examine Crocodile. This poor guy has been working for quite a long time to obtain Pluton. Like, really, he put a LOT of work into that. After all that hard work, Robin tells him that Pluton can't be found. Even if he didn't believe Robin, he still attempted to kill her. This was obviously because he felt that the Robin/Poneglyph lead was a dud. So he's bummed out because all that work was for nothing and he didn't obtain Pluton. Luffy and Crocodile then fight. This time, Luffy's will to see Vivi be happy was much stronger than Crocodile's will. In fact, Crocodile had no will, all his will just evaporated when he realized that he his only lead on Pluton was a dud. Crocodile even said that he didn't care about being prison afterwards. Luffy beat Crocodile not only out of power, but also because Luffy's will was so ridiculously stronger than Crocodile's. This is further illustrated in Water 7 and Enies Lobby. Luffy and Zoro, in their first confrontation with CP9, were soundly beat. They were unsure of Robin's position and her possible betrayal. Their will was seriously shaken. Then they learn the true reason of Robin's "betrayal". All of a sudden, their will is fired up. When they fight CP9 the second time, they win, because their will towards Robin is stronger than CP9's will towards their job. You'll notice that Sanji wasn't there in the first confrontation with CP9 in the mansion (he did fight them later but w/e). Sanji being Sanji, he would never have doubted Robin, so his will wouldn't have wavered like Luffy's or Zoro's. Convenient, n'est-ce pas, Oda? TL;DR: If your reason to fight is better than your opponent's, it procures a pretty huge bonus which can help tip the scales.
no other nonsense reasoning... of course the protagonist wins...
guys, where do you think raftel is located? what is "one piece"?
raftel looks like near at the red line in new world opposite to fishmen island... one piece? roger misleaded the people as gold wherein fact, its just the last island robin was looking for? i mean the true history? reading the manga over and over again... i pretty much sure that the world government was behind the missing history... they monopolize, slave and abuse by making them the sole authority over all...
therefore... roger's true will is to take down wg???

It'd be cool if we never knew. Like Oda will just put it in a box and only have panels with characters looking at it but never showing one piece itself. That way people would be guessing forever

also if oda trolls us by showing empty panels at the end i will throw a brick at my computer. i spent too much time on one piece to be left with that

Even though it would be cool to see more mythical zoan fruits i would really like if Kaido didn't have DF powers. I have always liked people like Shanks and Garp that are just flat-out strong. Also i do think that he is human. The only picture we have seen of him so far would suggest that.

in the latest anime ep 616 we got an updated silhouette of Kaidou which looks drastically different than his human image shown earlier http://i.imgur.com/ptz9Kpd.jpg
