for group C if Alliance + (VGR or Fnatic) advance and in group D Mineski + X? TL + Fnatic or TL + VGR seems most likely. And EG, MVP, LGD are all on the same level or rather can't predict them and they just should be stronger than Mineski.

Dota seems almost meaninglessly random in the pro scene nowadays. I rewatched that series not long ago. Complexity had a good day and EG actually didn't look bad. They had a plan but complexity was simply playing really well and was well-prepared. However, complexity simply wasn't prepared for Newbee (as they weren't, again, here at Manila). They actually played Newbee well at Epicenter, but they weren't prepared for the rotations, didn't remove the Lion and simply left Newbee in their comfort zone. (The PA was actually a great pick at Epicenter and they should have won that game.) But the pro scene currently is pretty messy. The rise of actual Draft Analysis & Coaches is rapidly changing the scene. No one wants to talk about how Alliance should have beaten Newbee at Epicenter. Alliance, think about that? The top 10 teams can all beat each other at a fairly regular basis. So everything comes down to subtle Meta shifts and who shows up to play the best that day. And, the thing to keep an eye out for in the group stages: What player or two is playing on "another level"? That's one of your finalists. As it's pretty much a requirement, at this stage, to win a large event. Someone has to be playing out of their minds. (MVP.P managed to get 2-3 players doing that at DotaPit, which is why they'll never be that good again.)

If they can play as cleanly as they've done recently Online, they're an easy top 4 contender. It's one thing to win, but, geez, were their rotations against MVP smooth. Hopefully, they're peaking at the right time. Granted, Na'Vi apparently can't win a Scrim and just 4-0'd their group. So, the stress of a Major LAN is a "thing" to contend with.

Redeye, Fogged, Charlie and Winter to start. Should be good. Especially with all of the SEA teams playing today.
