• The popular mid heroes are all frenetic playmaking cores: Storm, QoP, SF, Lina, etc. None of this boring Naga mid crap.
  
• Resident sleeper farming carries that want to delay the game (e.g., Spectre) are mostly unpopular. Carry Naga is an occasional exception, but she's played as support at least as often.
  
• The comeback mechanic has been nerfed enough that highground-turtling is no longer a dominant strategy.

I understand that any meta gets stale eventually, and we're all tired of Gyro and Lesh, but seriously, what more could a meta do for you?
