its a North America team. And im pretty damn sure Canada is located in that continent. Sumail moved to the US, dunno when. But he is a resident of USA.
So thats two players from NA. And its not about what country the players are from, its what region they play in.

Pretty sure he at least has his green card.
Fly is also Canadian.
But this guy's account exists literally just to post about this one thing, so really you can just ignore him.

Canada doesn't mean US.

My god, those two last games vrs NiP were amazing to watch!! The RTZ SHOW!! Man he was playing out of his mind... He was constantly clikcking buttons, keeping himself safe, never gets caught, the team also plays realy good around him atm, you can see the trust they have built. And Sumail is looking like a totally different player. He can still ble flashy, and is still the absolutt best(my own opinion ofc) 1v1 mid player in the universe, but he is very sacrifical in his playstyle in some of the matches, but doesnt feed, always knows what his job is in the teamfight, and keeps winning themfights. Im starting to see TI winning potential in this squad, and they still have lotts of time to develope.
PS: I think they are gonna keep picking for these RTZ heroes on fp. Looking forward to some super close games vrs VP

yeah the series was good except maybe the last game.
i dunno another TB player who would survive on the absolute scraps like RTZ did games 1 and 2. people say this hero is easy and pressing buttons in teamfights is easy. you know, bkb, manta, meta, first skill, ulti. but at the very least, everything in between is difficult. you have to position your hero so that your illusions reach the two other lanes. you have to time these things, cut when your team inevitably dies, look for opportunities with your main hero, read the map, etc. there can be so much intricacy to that and so much difficulty just walking out the base to get an illusion out. you saw how many times RTZ is barely, just barely, vulnerable to a jump. they are constantly testing him with random spells (like fissure) as well.
there was so much pressure on RTZ at the top rax push to use all his items and skills perfectly. it was stress inducing and my man was chugging a full monster drink every game i'm sure. they gotta check him into a hospital after those games lol. he's going to wake up without any hair.
and his teammates? itemized well and didn't cave to pressure when it mattered. we had s4 chain feeding 3 times on bat. that was brutal. but still trying to do something regardless.
i also don't know how a tiny solo kills a monkey king at level 3 a piece.
it was fun watching from the perspective of the EG players and i can only imagine NiP is kicking themselves for some key messups. they were forced to play perfect for the entirety of the game as one of the analysts mentioned. this might be due to the nature of EG's picks, but that is an advantage owed with disadvantages of its own.
i'm pretty sure saksa meant to at least egg behind the wall to secure megas, and i also think ppd could have played chen's strengths quite a bit more. did you guys notice any key sendbacks? what about sendback into BoTs? Aghs creeps, or ghost scepter to waste time vs a TB? i didn't at all. he was playing purely 6 from a winning position where a better player would have gotten more.
one of the hurtful things to taking two lanes of rax that early into the game is that you're caught up making movements as a team and catching people pushing out lanes, rather than farming yourself. and that's because the lanes are so deep that it's either unsafe to farm it alone or you're trying to take advantage of that lane pressure to exert map control in other ways. the lane is close to your base, safer to farm on average, and, over a lot of time, even batrider is able to farm up some items (skipping bkb, mind). nobody is buying a lotus orb or linkens to help alleviate the massive pressure on rtz and on saving heroes to break and all-in combo.
and they still make it work, just barely, and you saw from how exciting those games were. you have to give props to that no matter how much you hate the heroes they're playing. NiP's heroes and picks still have more variations to them. i bet for example ppd is deliberating on whther tree would just be easier to play with phoenix and with how hard they made EG work for simple tower kills in a game like that.

Tough loss against VP, but we still got top3 in a major :D Now the waiting for the new patch begins!

Well that was a rough ending jesus, we were all over the place vs VP, oh well top 3 is huge points to start off, now i hope they dust off and go again.
|
So, Chongqing is the next games from EG? Or is it any quals etc before?
|
I can't wait for this major to start. I have a feeling that 2019 will be the best year yet for Arteezy
|
Major hype! Can't wait to see the bois wreck some faces :D

Rough series against Fnatic, idk imo Sumail's a bit off
|
Good turnaround against Alliance, but now we face VP
|
Meh, VP edged us out again... Atleast we were playing well, VP were just better today. I wouldnt say Sumail is playing bad, but there is something a bit off about him this Major, maybe its the unusual hero pool.
|
They are in that awkward spot where they (most of the time) crush lesser teams but struggle against the top dogs like VP. I hope they can get a good lower bracket run and get a good place and those precious DCP points.

Well no shame losing vs a VP squad that is on fire lately. I also think that they need more adjustments. But also i think that their drafting is way to conservative for a team of high potential. I would like them to write their own meta, to be cocky in the draft, specially when picking Sumail and Crit heros, I would like them to make an statement: "We pick to outplay and crush you, because we can and are better than you" kinda like VP playstyle.
|
I agree, I miss the days of Sumail Shaker mid, or Crit's support Puck. I know the meta and patches change things but still some craziness from time to time would be great
|
Totally agree with this, been a couple to many conservative drafts overall imo.
