They're not eligible to get invite, as they are actually changing their roster, it's not like they're having a sub just for supermajor

Btw, even if they still were together, DPC points would be the lesser of their worries, even more now that they have to rebuild themselves in weeks

Not that hard though in rebuild case as they can play at super major no matter what to get used to a few things, then is like 2-3 weeks until open qualifiers which will be a breeze, then the regionals in July will be tough but they have had the upper hand on VGS and Optic in those most of the season and as of late.

Has the schedule for the qualis been released yet? I thought they started like a few days after the supermajor.

Yeah the open quals start just a few days after the Supermajor ends. There really isn't much time.

It's hard to see many great options, unless EG manage to cause an even bigger shuffle and get some players from other established teams. If this was after TI, there probably would be a lot of players willing to consider playing with Arteezy, Sumail and cr1t. But right now it feels unlikely that teams like VGJS, Optic, OG etc break up. Of course EG will be competitive in the quals even if they play with Bulba+1, but it'll be interesting to see if they can come up with something more

If I were EG, at this point I would pull out of the supermajor (dick move, but it's dota so there's not going to be any punishment) and focus on winning the regional qualis.

Supermajor ended up kinda lame since there are (realistically) no teams attending that are eligible to break into the top 8. Final tribe is about it I think?
