The thing is they can talk about how they only want that to be the chill stream or whatever. But it's quite clear the majority of the effort was put into that stream and just getting people to hang out on that stream. Which is why they have significantly more people than they actually need and/or people who aren't there to cast.

While on the other side of the world BTS put no effort into their couch stream and much more effort into their game stream (although they still have technical issues in their main studio as always, effort is the key word), and thus much more people watch the game streams than their couch stream which is tucked away on bts3.

I actually feel bad for the teams that have to play in the EU/Chinese qualifier... I wonder how they feel when watching the quality of some of these NA qualifier games… The big question was never about who should qualify. It was about seeing if NAR/Liquid for some random reason play worse than they are or not. They didn’t… No Hype or storyline was created.

I know, its good for the NA scene and all that but for most viewers there is about 0 personal investment into these teams… There is SNA, Liquid, NAR and maybe SNA all the others you might or might not have heard off because you stumbled upon some NA-League stream you watched because Liquid/EG/NAR /SNA played… (well, Revenge got some attention too, but not really for their play ).
