Nowhere is it stated that she is human.
I don´t care for the new, legally copyright free lore she got in Dota 2. But even there she isn´t stated to be human, only to be beautiful unlike the ugly troll-like drow(that´s valve drow, not regular drow).
Unless of course "Travelers" or "girl-child" mean "human and definitely not elf".

It clearly states in the dota 2 lore that she is not a drow. True, it doesn't say in clear text that she is human, but nothing else is mentioned and since it's clearly stated she is NOT a drow, it makes sense to assume she's human since it would probably be written out if she was an elf raised by drows.

Phantom Lancer's agi buff feels really nice. Proc Jux far more often, as do illusions. The Q illusion along with the slow buff also seems to get an extra hit

I don't know how Wizard of the Coast run their licensing but going with the old WC3 lore for this game would certainly be stepping on D&D/Forgotten Realms toes.
By dissociating Drows from Dark Elves in Dota 2 I guess there's your answer about that, too?

In the past I treated DOTA 2 and LoL the same, with contempt. I was furious when TL decided to move away from a SC2 and cover DOTA 2 also.
I've been playing a lot of DOTA 2 in the last 2 weeks.
It's really good and my opinion has transformed completely.
I was having fun pub-stomping with Lycan and now he's nerfed ;(
In college atm, looking forward to getting home and playing some more!

Finally I get a win, after a losing streak today. My entire team knew how to play, and so did our opponents. I guess you gotta persevere through the bad games to get good ones once in a while.

In my opinion if you pick a midgame hero PL is a terrible idea.

I mean you have to sort of realize the context of those midgame teamfight oriented builds, which is extremely aggressive teamfight heavy games in high level Chinese pubs. If you don't play carries in a way that they can have a presence in that period, your team has a high chance of just getting rolled over. So its either adapt carries in such a way that you can have a midgame presence, or play AM/Morph/Lycan/etc. every game, of which the latter option really isn't all that fun over a lot of games.
Obviously you will get slower pub games where Radiance is appropriate, but I personally think it's more fun to play these more active builds with higher midgame presence than to farm to Radiance + 2-3 items before doing anything.

820 never said you should not get radiance, when you add in the fact that everyone knew pl+radiance = strong, you'd have guessed that people will try their best to prevent the pl gets radiance and thus 820 was saying how to make pl more 'useful' during early/midgame. I bet 10pounds that he would go radiance straight away when he is playing against noobs having complete free farm for 15mins etc.

funnily enough, I farm faster with diffu than with radiance. With diffu you need 2illu to clear big camp but that the only problem. You're still very fast and can farm your whole jungle under 40sec.
@blitz, you're supposed to max acid spray then stun then gg. One early point in GG around lvl 4 (i take it at level 1 but thats because i'm a greedy bastard).

Tbh most of the time its better to max Acid over Gold, given the increased gold cap and how bullshit Acid is at clearing stacked jungle camps, having 4 acid 1 gold 1 stun (for utility) will give you both far more lane presence and faster jungle farm that either 2 acid 4 gold or 1 acid 1 stun 1 gold. The key to alch is learning how to do bullshit jungle stack -> acid clears for infinite money
