It was even worse 2-3 years back. Veno and qop had shadow strike. Blinkstrike between CK, Riki & PA. Chain Lightning on Medusa and Razor. Frost Nova on Lich & CM. Enrage on Viper and Razor. Cleave on Sven & Magna. Crit strike also on Naga Siren. Jinada was the same as Drunken Brawler with worse stats. Impale on NA & Lion now renamed, Wind Walk on Clinkz and BH now renamed, Voodoo, Silence, Blink still all the same. Back then the hero pool was also considerably smaller. I think sameness was really kind of an issue, not that I complained. Made learning heroes easier. | ||

That style of complete map control through hero presence and passive pushing fell out of favor because of it's losing to the aggressive pushing and team fighting allowed by the newer heroes. What do you do as a tinker vs wisp tiny, or vs a more common disruptor pick tinker TPing in getting glimpsed back and then having to tp BACK in after rearm gives a long time of 4v5. what do you do trying to escape a Naga that tps in and ultis. it's just much harder to protect those split pushers that are vulnerable while split pushing. morphling and brood are so much safer that they are much more often used. | ||

finally there are somebody who making tribute videos on Legends Players ty, im in tear.... these video are fucking hard to make. Just to find the right war3 patch and map version itself has already been a pain in the ass. | ||
