Linkens -> Eblade -> Manta -> Bfly/Skadi BKB -> Manta -> Bfly/Skadi ...are both valid item developments depending on teamcomps and game tempo. Bottle mid, Aquila sidelane for early game. If the enemy team e.g. doesn't have valid Eblade targets, but you wanted the Linkens for whatever reasons, just get Manta as your next item. Morphlings big strength is his damage output without major items, in general behaving like a BF AM who just afkfarms while leaving his team alone isn't the best idea. Keep in mind that your Replicant is a complete badass if you want to splitpush. | ||

Watch BurNIng or Zhou for build ideas against compositions. You're probably not using Waveform enough for farming - also Replicate can help you farm multiple lanes. Keep replicate out following your teammates and jump to it in the event of a teamfight or gank. I recommend getting a perseverance [to be made into Linkens later], unless you were solo mid and already have a bottle, and then just using Waveform to farm. If you're doing well enough you don't need to finish the Linken's immediately and can go for E-blade or Manta/BKB. When going for BKB instead of Linkens, you'll find that you can run low on mana, so use Replicate to maintain your position, then TP to base to regen, then take the place of the replicate and continue farming. | ||

Perhaps you need to kill more stuff in the early game, very often in pro games waveform nets a few kill early, that helps a lot. Laning with a veno/cm should net you an easy first blood. | ||

What is the point of getting eblade after linkens... eblade is so good because you get it so early and the enemy heroes have really low hp. You won't get a 20 min eblade if you go for linkens first. | ||

Add the damage from agility he will get from the nuke and Adaptive Strike if you have something like Manta + Butter and you can easily kill heroes in a combo pretty late in the game. | ||

The reason to get the eblade up first is I believe to give you the chance of snowballing out of control really early on in the game. If you get it up in good time, you can hunt for kills with the rest of the team, and so many heroes in the game instantly get killed if you have a teammate with some magic dmg too, and supports are ez for you solo. It is often the catalyst for your team to just win the game in sub-30minutes if you can keep catching opponents out and then punishing them by taking rosh/towers for free. I personally like linkens a lot, because I'm a whore for regen and it makes you such a bastard to kill in those early teamfights. | ||

EDIT: fantastic got my first abandon in 500 games, gg steam I already had to reclimb my way to the very high tier today since yesterday i pubbed with noob friends, and now after 2 wins a lost game that made no sense and a disconnect steam error, **** * * * * *SDG*ASG* * | ||
