Can anyone price either of these? EU SC, broke in act 1, got one cheap a while ago and just found the other

The LOH one doesnt seem to be matched below ~800k, the other 400+ but i have no experience selling anything of any value

Unfortunately they are not really worth anything because the DPS is simply too low and they are crossbows... I'd say 500k for the first one and 200k for the second one, but unless you're in no hurry selling them then try go for the double.

Are you paying for this service? Who are you to tell people off when they're not completely accurate? Last I checked, this is just random people guesstimating value, not a professional service with some money back guarantee. Entitled much?

its not difficult to be accurate and if you dont know what youre talking about then just dont respond,, 300% error is pretty big

Yeah come on man. People try their best to give an appraisal in their free time. They won't all be correct and they won't all be even close. We can't have people calling out wrong appraisals or pretty soon we'll have fewer people than we already do trying to help people out.

Also, your specific case might be an anomoly. Perhaps that was the right estimate and you just got lucky. Hell, I would have appraised about the same as he did too, 6m seems high imo.

Do you know the different between market value and individual value? Maybe the individual who bought your item has been looking for those stats for weeks, and they're desperate for the first close item that they don't mind overpaying. That doesn't mean that is its true market value. Has every single potential buyer been looking for weeks, and is desperate to the point of overpaying for that specific item? No.

And the fact that you think people can appraise items to almost exactly the accurate amount of gold that some random kid will buy it for is laughably ignorant, and it also drives people away who were trying to help in the first place, thus ruining this service for everyone going forward. Good one.

I don't think that's a reasonable statement: people should be encouraged to post what they actually sold the item for. In fact, that doesn't necessarily mean the advice was "incorrect" in that the poster was a bad appraiser. It could simply mean that someone foolishly bought it for too much or that they valued it more than others. The market certainly isn't efficient for there to be intrinsic values for items; more often than not it's just relative valuation and still inefficient.

Edit: Oh, apparently I got beaten to the punch on one of my points.

If I get called out everytime I was off the mark with an appraisal I certainly wouldn't appraise anymore. But if they made a new post in the thread with what it actually sold for I'd be fine with that.
