Tournament Structure
1) Tournament seeding will be in relation to the players NA Server Ladder Rank (Weighted by League),at the time of the event. If a player is unranked at this time, their previous season's ladder rank will be used, penalized by one entire league (DON'T BE INACTIVE!)
2) If a player is late by 15 minutes to a game without getting an OK from both his opponent and a tournament official, that player’s series will be forfeited.
3) The tournament will be played in a Bo3 double elimination style except for 1st and 3rd place matches, which will both be done as a Bo5 series.
4) No map may be repeated in the same series.
5) This Tournament WILL NOT use the extended series rules. Finals begin with a 0-0 score, and because I think it's a good idea. The Winner's Bracket player Will be able to pick the first map of the series, without the opponent being able to veto. (I Think that's enough of an advantage)
Map Selection
1) In tournaments, the top player on the bracket is considered the higher seed.
2) In a Bo3, both players veto a single map.
a) Players take turns eliminating maps until one map is left starting with higher seed.
b) Loser chooses next map.
c) Vetoed maps can not be chosen.
3) In a Bo5, no maps are vetoed.
a) Players take turns eliminating maps until one map is left starting with higher seed.
b) Loser chooses next map.

Guest Details & Expectations:
Much like last year... everyone bought something (food, beer, or otherwise). We are asking for the same thing this time around. Below is a list of everything that will be needed for the event. Alcohol will be basically a BYOB Affair, but I'm sure we can provide some beer and wine for any females that care to attend.
Items to Bring (once you volunteer we will add your contribution to the list)
4x 12 packs of burgers
4x 10 packs of hotdogs
Other Grillables that you folks enjoy (Chicken, Steak, Sausage, etc.)
Burger Buns
Hot Dog Buns
4x Family Size Bags of Chips/Doritos
Dips for Chips/Whatever
2x Cases of Water - Ignorant
2 liters of soda for non drinkers (or mixers)
Paper Plates/Plastic Utensils - DarthCaedus
Baked Goods/Cookies/Snacks/etc.
My wife will be whipping up a few of her specialties. but they won't be able to feed 20+ People... and as always... your contribution is greatly appreciated!

BYOC Needs:
With us not running this event at a LAN Center, as well as not having a sponsor for systems. we are asking for 8 Gaming PC's to be delivered to the event. outside of my own and Drog's PC's (which will be used for casting and other purposes). Anyone who has a GOOD Gaming PC is encouraged to bring it with them. and it will be added to the tournament PC list (Please, no Laptops). If you intend on bringing your PC to this event. please mention it in this thread. once we reach 8 we will not need anymore PC's. but if you still feel like bringing it with you we may have a spot for you to set up. If you have a power strip and/or Network Cable, feel free to bring that along with your rig. (WiFi is on the premises as well)
Confirmed Gaming PC's (7/8):
Phizzik
Consuskev
Pollux
DinoMight
Ignorant
DarthCaedus
MrNovember
Event Itinerary:
11AM: Doors Open for All Attendees
11AM-1PM: BYOC Setup and Check-In (networking equipment will be provided)
1PM: Tourney Starts (Ro16)
2PM - 3PM: Late Lunch/Early Dinner Served (in between matches, I'll man the grill unless I'm still playing, if not, I'll try to recruit someone else)
3PM - ~8PM: Tournament Day 1 Ends (hopefully play down to top 4 if possible)
8PM - 12AM: Outdoor Movies & Gaming, Table Top Madness, Drinking away the sorrows of a sub-top 8 finish, In Short, what we did last year. Yay Party!
12AM - 8AM: Do Whatever, I'm off the clock (Sleep would be a good idea if your still playing in the tourney.)
8AM - 12PM: Breakfast: Breakfast is tough to coordinate for a lot of people, so I'm leaving this open. There is a Dunkins within walking distance from my house, and a really great sitdown place. I might be able to fire up griddle and whip up some pancakes... but that all depends... long story short... breakfast is on you guys... but I'll do what I can. We have 2 Showers Available, and all who wish to freshen up are welcome.
12PM - ~5PM: Tourney Resumes. Play to end/award ceremony/prizes
We've had nothing but great results doing this in the past, and I see no reason for it not to be awesome this year. Let's Make a Memory Guys! Spread the Word!
