It's important for practice partner purposes

Welmu's play did not impress me at all at assembly. All he did were blink allins.
Empire could really use a good P.

Welmu isnt as bad as americans think he is, but hes not nearly as good as europeans seem to think (based on this thread). although if he is young and has potential, he would be worth keeping (like heromarine on mouz, or vileIllusion), i still feel like he is the odd man out in the empire lineup.
you hear empire. you think, yeah, foreign slayers. beastyqt, kas, happy terran trifecta. wacky but not terrible zerg aristeo. violet. welmu?
|
i guess with best terran line up in Europe, and now gosu viOLet joining they want to have an all-star team...
|
I also think that they strive to have a better overall lineup especially considering the recent addition of violet. Maybe next player will also be a Korean or a very high profile EU player. i don't think that they would add any US player because they are not strong enough.

I don't think Welmu was doing much or showing any results in tournaments and such, however when I saw him in team leagues he was always doing good. I agree with you since they already lack protoss players I don't understand this decision either.

Imagine empire still had naniwa and nerchio, what a team that would be, gl welmu and empire

At the start of 2012, everryone has been leaving their teams...

That is when contracts end, it shouldn't be to surprising

I liked Welmu, always seemed to be a pretty nice guy.
|
why the hell would they let go of welmu? they had such a great protoss in Welmu, and he was young. I'm genuinely sad that he actually has been let go of. Seriously he ssemed like he actually going to be their successful protoss to accompany their successful zerg.
|
Unfortunate to see him go but good luck in the future Welmu!
|
Fun fact: He was the only one from Empire that passed group stage at Assembly. Happy and Kas did not.
|
It was such a great pick up though Probably one of the most talented players out there :/
Good luck!
