I didn't watch the 1st game, but from the last 3 games, I couldn't say who had more skill at all. I would say game 2 and game 4 were BO wins for each. Game 3 is not micro win at all. It was more how the game just played out. Savior lost the muta fight because his mutas were weakened a lot before the fight all because of the lings. Savior needed the mutas to kill off the lings and during then Zero's mutas did a lot of damage with free hits. Anyone could be in that position and lose.

Zero made the game winning decision by sending in his lings, but not because his skill in terms of micro was better. Not what I've seen at least. BUT maybe I should watch game 1.

Yea,

ZvZ is such a luck matchup.

Except Savior had MORE LUCK than Zero.

Game 1: 12 hatch > 12 Pool. Especially since Zero followed it up with expansion and lair.
Game 2: 12 hatch > 12 Pool. Cross positions
Game 3: Equal, as Carthage forces 12 hatch
Game 4: 12 hatch < 9 pool.

ZvZ is a muta/scourge micro-fest. And Savior isn't among the best at these.

Game 2 was 10 expo, Overlord, 100 gas, all in lings.
Oracle comes in, Scvs go down, never a miscommunication.

Well... Thanks for the fail Savior, it's been fun.

Time to cheer for ZerO I guess.

Well Leta is pretty much a shoe in for msl finals, given his next 2 opponents are zerg and he's just retarded good at that MU. Lux def has a better shot at taking him down. I would like nada to win the right bracket but watching a Bo5 tvt finals doesn't really sound that great, so I'm pulling for stork to win. I love tvt but I dunno if I'm prepared for a potential 4 hour + msl final lol.

Sucks that all the SKT1 players are in the OSL and got kicked out of the MSL.

I`m not a big fan of whose left =(. Leta vs. Jangbi sounds nice though.

Speaking of which, there aren't any more S-Class players left in Lost Saga MSL are there?

Savior is S-Class ?

You have got to be kidding me .. He was just pathetic today. FFS opponent was Zero. *sigh*

It is decided.

Leta vs Jangbi Finals. //

Wtf is up with you people calling sAviOr pathetic because he lost in fucking ZvZ? It is no secret that he's a low apm player so microing against someone like ZerO surely isn't his strength. But what gives you the right to call one of the most achieved and genius players in the history of starcraft pathetic? Seriously, what is it with you?

Let me tell you one thing. If ZerO had lost in the same fashion, NO ONE would be rambling about a pathetic performance or something like that. Maybe it was a questionable decision to go 12 hatch again in the last game. But then again, it was a 4-player map. Might as well have worked.

ZerO played well, his micro was better today, and that's it.

I'm sorry, but Nada right now is the definition of mediocrity. He's still pretty good TvT because of his great decision-making. But his overall skills are by far the worst among the remaining players.

Hey guys, I'm not too familiar with zvz. Could anyone give a rough overview on the pros and cons of the ZvZ builds.

9Pool
12pool
Overpool
12Hatch

Sometimes I see Zergs going for Spores too instead of Mutas, what's the advantage? :O

Thanks Appreciate it

9Pool allows the fastest aggression, while giving you alot of options, either tech immediately or get another hatchery, either at base or expo.

12 pool allows you to be ahead in economy, but slower on tech, and more open to risks. Used more often if it's a big map.

Overpool is the same as 9pool, except it slows your pool a bit slower while allowing you to continue pumping drones.

12 hatch is the more economic-safe option, but high risks (refer to game 4)

Yeah this MSL is over me after this crushing dream.. :/

I hope we will get to see Bisu vs Jaedong Finals in OSL , it has to be or the first series of tournament of this year will suck hard.

You should definitely check out game 1 - again, strategy decisions had a big impact (and Savior made a couple poor ones) but I think Zero did a consistently better job with his micro, in the few muta encounters that did take place. More than that he seemed simply to be in the right place at the right time more often than Savior, picking off OLs and keeping Savior on the defensive.

Sorry. Kind of wrote 12 hatch out of habit. Still the point remains. Savior had the advantage in BO in general in this series. He's just not as good as Zero ZvZ.

I totally agree, from the perspective that JangBi will produce the most entertaining final. I'm just hoping that whoever qualifies from the other half of the bracket will take the title ^^
