Magma actually answered with a Korean proverb, "comparing acorns size". It indicates a situation that comparing them (things or people, 6 dragons in this case) is meaningless, because they are all weak, small or losers anyway. Acorn is used to indicate something very small.

Betting acorns is a different thing. Cyworld, a well known Korean social networking site, calls its online cache as acorn.

bisu got savior out of certain death, and secured a game with him, and secured a 3 zerg group, and stuck it to fbh, and jaedong and flash will still probably advance. stop crying. so we'll lose fbh and hwasin in group stages, it's not like they would have beaten a protoss. and we get a savior/bisu and probably jaedong/flash.

Damn you Bisu! Thanks to you we will have group of death and shit ro16... Group F is the strongest group I have ever seen in OSL or MSL. All players have a good shot at making it through.

Bisu = Making History... yes, what he did was gay, dodging Flash for now, but he saved savior's ass. Anyway I do think KTY will have hard time to advance

i really didn't get what you said here, but yes he did bring savior into his group. That's exactly why Bisu showed a lot of weakness, too much. Savior is an awful player right now... and Bisu knows this. He disappointed me by not keeping flash. You know the format? That they need 2 wins to qualify? Your predictions are pretty strange if you do.

Jaedong looks hot at the moment though; jd vs fantasy and jd vs hwasin from proleague. Also he only needs to focus on ZvT while the other players must train both TvT and TvZ.

C'mon. No matter what is your elo and how many titles you have yo don't wanna be in a group with Flash and Jaedong because there is a good chance you won't advance.

You think that the only purpose Bisu avoided Flash and put himself in a group with 3 zergs is to make groups more exciting?

its hard to describe but look up the MSL format.
I'll try to describe it.

This is how you pass your group
We have players A, B, C, D

A vs B
C vs D

imagine A and C won
A vs C
B vs D

Imagine A and B won
B vs C

imagine B won
We have A and B advance as both these won 2 games out of a possible 33
C and D lost a total of 2 games out of a possible 3

I dont see group A as Bisu vs 3 zergs group. For me its the group where Bisu vs Savior will happen...o boy, this will be the opening game for the tournament how exciting is that !! And yes, because of bisu now group F will get the hype of man utd vs real madrid football match

Do not worry, I do not think Bisu cares how he means to you Actually Bisu behaved cocky one of the previous MSL group selections and moved jaedong to his group and got eliminated by JD. I think this time he is more careful and want to get rid of JD and Flash in early stage which is not a bad decision for him.

Magma was the hero for this msl group selection. Everything from his 삽투리, to his death stare etc.

Lol, maGma was probably this MSL's revelation, and he hasn't even played a single game yet. Hope you don't mind I make a correction, but by 삽투리 you mean the dialect accent, it is 사투리, or maybe you are just referring to some current slang I'm unaware of. Anyways, just a friendly note.

I want to thank everyone who contributed, especially XYoonZ and ilikestarcraft, who tbh, carried the largest part of this ceremony's weight. I don't want to get cheesy and/or corny, but we are not forgetting the Mr.Hoons and company who make the effort to bring us great stuff on a more regular basis, and of course the community that makes translating for far more enjoyable. This was my first stream in like 3 years(yeah, I rely heavy on VODs) and I almost forgot how fun it was.

Anyways, my picks out of these groups:

Group A
(Z)sAviOr vs (P)Bisu
(Z)maGma vs (Z)ZerO

Predictions: Bisu is almost an autovote, and ZerO looks the most solid zerg of the three atm.
Hopes: I'm hoping the Maestro can overcome both inexperienced maGma and ZerO to qualify along Bisu.

Group B
(P)Kal vs (Z)Luxury
(T)Leta vs (Z)Hyuk

Predicitions: Kal and Leta are the logical choices here.
Hopes: I like both Kal and Leta, but I always feel sorry for Hyuk, so I'd like him to make it far.

Group C
(P)JangBi vs (T)Iris
(P)Tempest vs (T)fantasy

Predicitions: JangBi is too solid, and fantasy is too fast for Tempest and Iris.
Hopes: JangBi and Iris works for me.

Group D
(P)free vs (P)Doctor.K
(P)Horang2 vs (Z)Kwanro

Predictions: free shall not fail in this group, and Horang2 seems like the other choice.
Hopes: free and Horang2. Don't give a crap about the other 2.

Group E
(Z)YellOw[ArnC] vs (T)UpMagiC
(P)Much vs (Z)by.hero

Predictions: yarnc and UpMagic seem to be favorites here.
Hopes: GranpaToss needs to show the kids that he still has it in him. Much and UpMagic go!

Group F
(T)firebathero vs (T)Flash
(Z)Jaedong vs (T)Hwasin

Predictions: Holy shit, this one is a tough call. FBH made it out of his all P group last season, and he wasn't even on fire like he is now. FBH is neither the best or the second best of this group, but If he overcame that, and in his current form, he should be able to make it out this time too(it's not like he is playing BO5 against Bisu). The remaining choice comes down to... damn, all three could make it, but I'll give JD the edge. Actually he could own the group with queens alone.
Hopes: All four get a BYE for the next round. But since that's not possible, and from talent alone, I hope Flash and JD qualify.

Group G
(T)NaDa vs (T)FrOzean
(T)RuBy vs (T)Canata

Predictions: OMFG. All TvT and no fantasy, no Iris. Well, I'd say Canata and NaDa. FrOzean is way overrated and RuBy seems like a bust.
Hopes: I'd like to see NaDa go through, of course, and I'd like RuBy to proof me wrong and wreck some havoc.

Group H
(P)Stork vs (T)fOrGG
(T)Sea vs (T)go.go

Predictions: Stork and fOrGG seem good to me. Talentwise, Sea does not trail behind any of the other two, but we all know his choking history.
Hopes: Omfg, Sea, make it at least one time! You were supposed to be the next big thing, even some progamer colleagues consider you the best T, but you keep on choking. Try to get some tips from Stork, who knows a little something about choking. Sea and Stork, best friends walking out of the group should be nice.

Wow so many bisu lovers out here. I'll stand by my opinion and say it straight out again BISU is a PANSY. He was scared to challenge Flash and put Savior into his group. Flash is the Toss KILLER... I don't care what his ELO is. And yes I think a guy winning 3 major titles is DAMN scared of Flash (hence why savior is now in his group) As for making the games more exciting??? Wow what are you on.... before we had Toss Terran Zerg Zerg and Terran Zerg Terran Zerg. Now we have Toss Zerg Zerg Zerg and Zerg Terran Terran Terran. Ummmm kind of lame if we think of it just by races. But now factor in the players. We had a good Bisu vs Flash and a good FBH vs Jaedong. Well bisu changed it and made it FBH vs Savior and Hwasin vs Jaedong which made me happy. Cuz FBH vs Savior i feel has a stronger rivalry and Hwasin and Jaedong also have a rivalry (forgot which matchup it was but both hwasin and jaedong did a thumbs down to each other at one point.) But in the last minute Bisu shows his true cowardice and moves Flash and Savior making it a lame (only reason you would not consider it lame is cuz of saviors history... take that away and you got a mediocre zerg) Bisu vs Savior and a really lame FBH vs Flash.

this is awesome:

NaDa got a group he definitely can cope with. There could have been so many different groups where I would have seen NaDa as a clear underdog and would have given him no chance. In this group NaDa is almost prohibited to make it out !

+

The other groups are all cool & we have bisu vs savior & additionally one freakingly hard and almost overpowered group + magma will have to show what he's made of when he wants to survive a group with savior and bisu

Seriously: How can anyone not be happy with that upcoming MSL ?
