If you are preparing for a tournament, you don't need friends of the players or the other playing who are smurfing themselves, knowing your builds and such. BW is a very small community outside of korea. Very, very small. You shouldn't have to go out of your way and waste even more of your time for the sake of anonymity. A tonne of people share replays knowing who they were playing and when they're rooting for different players. Etc... I've had more than one person for each large tournament ask me for example, "Hey, I have reps of XXXX from Canada national finals. Want to see?". To be honest I don't even know where you stand on the issue and I think something got crossed. But during large tourney time, who is who is kinda gay. Should let everyone practice in peace then you can say them afterwards or something. Should I start practicing, I don't want someone taking 5 minutes asking which person is me when it makes my time feel wasted as my opponents learn my race and, perhaps, a few builds as well. But seriously, re-read your post. Who ends their post in, "thanks".? That's more douchey than -Mynock. | ||

Ending with "thanks" is no more "douchey" than thinking the community owes you privacy on a ladder. You have been a part of this tiny ass community longer than most and yet you still dont understand that finding smurfs out is half the fun? its been done since the dawn of smurfing.. bitching about it here is not going to change it. In fact, (i will make my point yet again) it really only suggests you need to loosen up. Last I checked nobody makes their living off this game (that posts here) and it is in fact, a game. So understand, along with "gaming" comes a relatively unserious nature to that game. Sure there are lines and expectations, but thinking an entire community should ignore you and the ID you use while you play the most popular PUBLIC ladder is fucking egotistical and suggests a severe need in a reality check. | ||
