IriS vs. Stork is something I'm really excited to see though. Stork's on fire right now, and IriS is still really strong. Being a Protoss fan, I want Stork to win, and being an analyst, I also think Stork's going to win. There's not much more I would like to see than a Flash vs. Stork final match, because that would be amazing.

You guys may argue that the 3 hatch--muta harrassment-- 3rd gas--hive--defiler Savior used to use is way more predictive. I'd say, that's not a strategy at all, that's a standard formula a zerg usually has to follow in ZvT. Zerg may win or lose no matter how successfully he/she follow this formula, the winning ratio tells the difference between savior and everyone else. Actually, when adopting the standard formula, what's important becoming how to flank, when to push into terran's natural, when to throw down sunkens and when to be prepared for drop..etc..In a word, in-game decision making All these stuff can not be predicted anyway, and if all these jobs get done well, it's called SOLID. I am not saying strategy-oriented game style is inferior. It just does not fit Savior very well. Come on, you are not Boxer, who entertain the fans with his brilliant innovation. You are Savior, you entertain us with your SOLID play and eventual WIN.

i really wish savior would go back to macro builds instead of trying to "trick" his opponent so much

Then sometimes he'll pretend to counter the terran with his muta/ling, but instead flank with muta/ling from the back and lurker/ling from the front, kililng the force and again buying time to get defilers. Recently his strat consists of, as many have noticed, strategic plays, where he finds the timings of his opponent's weakness and hits hard. It's worked a few times, but it's becoming less and less effective, as we've all seen. He's trying to constantly change... lately I've seen an increasing use of the guardian in ZvT. We saw YellOw use guard/hydra, and ChoJJa use Guardians to buy time for mass ultras... and we saw Savior use guard/lurker on that Hitchhiker game against IriS. It's time Savior mixes them all up. Perhaps another 5 pool rush to completely confuse his opponents. Or maybe that 2 base defiler rush he showed on Longinus last season against Hwasin. Or maybe stick to lair and play with lurker drops, or even a ultralisk rush. But it's time. His play has been too exploited.

Somehow I still think Iris is Stork's biggest threat right now, I know Flash is 9-0 TvP, still I get the feeling Stork would destroy him. If Stork gets through Iris I'm voting for a Protoss champion. Flash is fearless, but he just doesn't feel solid yet. I can't bet on him in a Bo5 series, no matter the oponent. A Bo5 is not some Week-by-Week Bo3, not some Proleague ace match, its something Flash never officialy done before. We'll see how he does in semis. doesn't GGplay has like a 4:0 record against Stork?

As far as savior goes, I don't really think his play is diminishing that much. His map control is still godly, it's just he's run into some losses recently in games he would have normally won. The biggest example of that was game 1 vs FBH recently: For most of the game, it went as planned - savior played respectably for a while, and before you knew what was happening he was ransacking FBH's main. In typical savior fashion, he seemed to read the game better than the fans watching the game, and as always we asked ourselves what his opponent did wrong to allow savior to run all over him like that. However, FBH set up a ridiculous defense at his remaining two bases, and eventually won the game with perserverance and battlecruisers. I think some change may be in order for the maestro, but in that effect it's less of him losing his touch and more of his opponents finally finding ways to beat him.
