I think it's good that there is not this ace player match anymore, KT was constantly winning because of Flash and I bet Ace was losing mainly because of that, It gives pressure to the entire team and not just one player saving the day for everybody.

I'm still adjusting... but honestly, I'm not too upset with Bo5 no ace (can't believe i'm saying no ace) because there is a certain tension in the new format that wasn't there in Bo7. It feels like each individual game is that much more important, and I really think it makes the whole style much more crazy. Plus, with no ace match, I pay WAY more attention to the match-ups since there is no "safety net".

Bo5 no ace is just right. Coaches will have to build a strong team instead of relying on aces like Bisu / Flash / Jaedong to get the win. Or Winners League to secure a spot for the play-offs. That being said, Team8 is imba no matter what. But for the sake of the PL, more focus will be put on other players, maps, coaches. Who knows, maybe they'll even recruit some players now

personally I would prefer bo7 with ace over bo5 without ace, but bo5 without ace over bo5 with ace.
