And this despite such backdoor stuff has been done before many, many times on similar maps.
I think there was a pylon up on high ground. Have to recheck VOD.

Stats is a top-tier protoss as well as an inspiring protoss. The same could be said for many other players, (if not all). Stop the trash talking.
Odd, I actually think Stats has a very nice playstyle. He's really greedy and he makes a lot of "educated" gambles. Which is good in the PL because if you just play the percentages, you'll win more than you lose. It might be bad if you want to win multiple BoXs to a championship, but in PL matches it's very smart.

please lets keep in mind here that Wooki has barely debuted last year, and despite having debuted so soon he's shown a ton of promise and potential, especially with his PvZ. Lets not forget all the equally retarded mistakes that Reality, Turn, Brave and Grape have made (I have high regards for all four as promising rookies).
I'm not talking about his future. Just what I thought of last game. Perhaps he improves. Perhaps not. But right now he's not that good.
My point is that you're being too harsh on him. He showed a lot of nice things in his play, such as not overreacting to the hidden Barracks, placing the spotter pylon for the dropship and not overreacting by only sending some units to his third, instead of his entire army.
I'm actually pretty sure that he saw the army movement with an obs, but I need to doublecheck the VOD .. otherwise why would he move for a counter? But he was a bit indecisive about it and it cost him the game .. something chalked up to inexperience. Of course when you compare Wooki to more experienced A-teamers he may not be that great, but for a guy who's been a progamer for only about a year or so, Wooki is pretty damn good.

He definitely had an obs on the army. He prob didn't expect the backdoor -> snipe stargates

Crazy Zerg is fast evochamber for fast carapace upgrades and relying on Muta/Ling to delay the push long enough for fast Ultras to pop out .. works best on maps where Zerg can secure a third really easily.

Fair enough. I feel my words sound harsh only when compared to people's expectations of him, like he's somehow the next big thing in protoss.
