Bulk of the blame lies with Hiya. 15% winrate in proleague. Yet he can win games in OSL. This tells me that he hasn't been practicing enough for proleague.

If he had planned the All-In from the getgo then he HAD TO change his strategy after getting scouted. It is just not possible to break a Terran of Light's skill level with Lurkers that he sees coming - his winning chance were probably around 0.x percent, it is just not happening. At that point (when the Den was scouted) he wasn't commited to anything. His eco was still normal and he hadnt made a ton of Lings. It would have been a loss but JD has come back from MUCH worse, even against Top players. He should have just droned up, maybe even made a Spire and played a catch up game. If he hadn't planned it, then it was a tilt to and that is far worse. It should not happen to a player of JDs caliber. Im really hoping the reason JD didnt transition to a macro game was because of not wanting to share his new late game innovations before deciding phases of OSL/MSL.

Never saw him waste so much in the beginning, something happened I wouldn't be surprised, he's been carrying the team for years. It's just that with the new Bo7 it makes it so much harder. Wouldn't be surprised if JD goes back to the practice house and throws a few chairs around. If only Hiya won a few freaking games...

Unless JD played badly that game (which he did) and unless Hogil is not very good at ZvT. Just saying.

Never saw him waste so much in the beginning, something happened I guess he just likes to all-in sometimes to be unpredictable. Like the 2x 4pool against flash in a bo5. This result is better for oz than 1-4 with only jaedong winning because even though jd lost today he'll still win most games in the future, but someone else winning is a big deal. Amazing game by anytime, even though he couldn't shut down that hidden expansion... just macroing a huge army and taking it without any tricks

In general his OSL play has been much better than his proleague games. His Bo3 in the OSL Ro36 was pretty decent, as was his game against JD.

JD didn't play amazing, but it wasn't bad and hiya himself played pretty good.

Since I think it was last season that they changed the rules so you don't know who you're opponnent is. I'd be curious to check up his stats to see if he's been losing a lot more since then.

Well, according to TLPD, HiyA was 26-17 during the 2009-2010 SPL, which is 60.47%. If we're talking about his stats during R4 and R5, it's still around 56 % (not sure exactly when R4 started). This season, he's 2-12 (14.29%). So at most, it probably is a small factor. I think it might have to do with the Bo7 format and practicing on more maps, or something. Or else HiyA's just trolling us Oz fans.

If only Hiya could step his play up and be something of a helping pillar. But he's failing left and right with a 14% win rate. I seriously hope Anytime will be able to change something, have the feeling that the mood is pretty shitty @ oz -_-

I would hate to be in Jaedong's shoes right now, especially when he places such a great emphasis on PL performance.
