Flash's TvT imo is definitely his actual weak matchup now. The series with Leta where Leta threw it away, the streak of TvT ace match losses, the series with Fantasy where he constantly put himself at a disadvantage and was very close to losing it. Now he loses a game with the advantage against a relative newcomer. He tendancy to go on the backfoot midgame then pull back lategame is slowly slipping away as other players catch up.

To be honest, all the TBLS are showing some weakness in their mirror. Jaedong lost a few more ZvZ's this season than usual, Bisu has occasional fails against Kal, and Flash had his ace match streak mostly against terrans. Stork is kinda constantly changing how good he's doing, so no comment there.

The map may help explain why Ssak performed so well against Flash. Since he was sent out on the same map in the Proleague match, he undoubtedly already spent a huge amount of time practicing for Flash on it.

Even Flash's schedule doesn't explain why he played as poorly as he did in the first game, though.

It's pretty easy to explain flash just playing poorly. He got overconfident and practiced more for his proleague and OSL matches than his "easy" MSL matches. It's not even a little uncommon for a talented new player under no pressure to win to take out the confident, overworked veteran.

It would be pretty funny if Ssak was the Bisu to Flash's savior though, lol.

Funny that you say Flash got overconfident after Flash said that to Ssak.
The manner CCs in his PL game were hilarious though, especially since there were 3/4 of them.
