Yes...precisely what happened in the KT vs. Khan match was what prompted me to think about this.
I have like zero (well, maybe one) experience of making live-report threads, so I don't think I'll be able to handle the responsability of making a live-report thread GUIDE.
But to some other veterans: please, if you have time, can you think about it? Normally this wouldn't be necessary but with the advent of SC2, we'll soon be getting a lot of loss of know-how with regards to BW on Teamliquid.
It would be nice to keep some of that know-how in data format so that the next generation has an easier learning curve.

In all honesty, all you have to do to make an OP is find an old format that you like and add what personal touches you like to it. I'm probably gonna try to make some more OP's from now on.

I'm sure it looks simple to people who have done it a hundred times. It doesn't to me, who's only done it once. I understand the TLPD-ize option, but what about little details like TLPD-izing players who are not in the database? Also...when I tried it looks like you can't bold and italicize at the same time something that's inside a TLPD quote. Also...where is the button to center text? All of these little questions add up...
Another thing are the publicly-hosted images...it would be a pain to remember where they all are without finding the original thread that contained them. Or there maybe multiple OPs that I really liked but can't remember which was what match, and contained which pictures, etc.
Just my two-cent, like I said if they are enough OPers out there there wouldn't be a need for this discussion.

khan is on the upswing, but standing toe to toe with T1, a currently undefeated team? I don't think so.
plus khan just played a match 2 days ago, while T1 has had a longer break.

but thats just general BB-Code... i'd have to teach you everything about BB-Code then...
there is no center button. we just type the tags. [center]. that's it. the only times the buttons are actually helpful imo is for pictures, links, and tlpd.
to bold or italicize something that's tlpd-'d, do it like [b]Bisu[/b]
to tlpd players that are difficult, a good rule of thumb is to just capitalize the player name. some players have AKAs that are used instead. BeSt needs two letters capitalized. soo must be tlpd'd as Soo_SKT (unless you actually want soo of stx). baby is now Ty.
for publicly hosted images, just learn to use the search function. notice how LR threads have had their titles standardized? its for ease of searching.
