You don't get the +1 for the normal lineup when you are in the Ace Match, just the +2.
Normal Win: 3 points (2 for win, 1 for appearance)
Normal Loss: 0 points (-1 for loss, 1 for appearance)
Ace Win: 4 points (2 for win, 2 for ace selection)
Ace Loss: 1 points (-1 for loss, 2 for ace selection)
Basically players just get an extra one point for being chosen as the Ace Match for their team.
