Thanks for all the work you and everyone involved have been doing with this, Artosis. The willingness to ask for feedback and implement suggestions is just incredible. Best of luck and I hope you guys can get this sorted out for those having problems asap.

6-7 months ago when all Scforall had were korean league games, I was able to do this because the stream was always laggy for direct streaming, even though I have an excellent internet connection. A few months later the videos could not be buffered to full before watching, what the hell changed that?
It's a sad thing too, because I was trying to get friends to watch videos from this website, but if its lagging like a piece of shit ALL THE TIME, casual SC fans will just give up and watch another SC video from youtube, even thoguh the English commentaries there are inferior.
Artosis and coach Lee are the best English commentators right now, but it's such a shame that their video stream player is such a worthless piece of shit, I'm so frustrated by it. yeah the video player is really frustrating right now. really trying to find an answer for this. youtube isnt really doable, anyone have any other ideas?
What's the problem with youtube? Another high quality/reliable video host I would recommend is vimeo.com
If you have to put the video on scforall for some odd reason, I'd recommend hosting FLV files instead of doing some fancy pants RTMP stuff. It's bufferable, downloadable and easier on the servers.

what is fancy pants RTMP stuff? what do you mean just hosting FLV files? is there a non-dirty way to do somehting like that?

He's just saying host the video files and let us simply download it from scforall instead of trying to use a streaming video player.

In other words you could just keep everything as it is BUT put a link for a direct download of the video file bellow it and it would be good for everyone.

Yeah, I'm able to skip forward in the VOD as well -- I don't think that the video is a RTMP.

It is. But yeah, maybe it works for some people. It doesn't work reliably for me though.
