I'm glad this initiative exists because then I don't have to be bothered to sift through SS501 fan clubs to find subs. You guys deserve huge props for spending the effort to stream and sub these. Second episode sounds intriguing already, making this guy attempt Courage at the level of play I saw from the first episode is going to be lawls.

No no no, I watched the first episode unsubbed just to see the gist of it. Needless to say, without subs the only part I found entertaining was the actual starcraft part.

a guy named Hyunoo tranlated as much as he could while watching the episode live for us in Roffles stream
the dialogue between the coach and Hyung Joon was absolutely hilarious!

i dont know about you guys. i think idra deserves OSL win if this guy can be a progamer. hes def not C rank on iccup. CPU suits him better.

he's got no chances as a pro gamer.he should just stick to being a pretty boy singer.

TL Fansubs Fighting! Can't wait to see some ret vs pretty boy courage action straight from Korean national TV. Maybe they'd even show it on the local Korean tv channels here... (yeah right ㅠㅠ)

Gonna watch these when they are available ^^

Haha xD, I'll probably re-watch it when the subs come out, wanted to know what was going on between him and Rainbow anyways. Probably won't be able to make it to the live broadcasts though, but I'll be fine with keeping up with this as the subs come.

He's not gonna be a progamer, he's in the show to get ratings for MBCGame. The first episode had a 1.03% rating, OSL Finals by comparison had a 1.7% rating. It's like a mini MSL Finals for them every week if they do the show right. It probably costs a lot less to produce too.

I think they should pick Kyuhyun from Super Junior. He seems more serious about Star Craft than how Hyungjun thinks/comes off as (that's the sense I got after I saw the first episode). And it seems Kyuhyun actually knows pros than Hyungjun does... I believe he even made Bisu do the Sorry Sorry dance after Bisu won a match...
Good luck to the translators!

How good is 1.7% relative to the best and everything..

Sorry but I've just got to say this: I wouldn't even give a god damn fuck if Eminem played StarCraft (and flamed everyone that beat him) if he was a D+ player and it would be broadcasted. The whole concept seems totally retarded to me, why would watching a Newbie play be more interesting just because he's famous for being good at something else? Would you like to play a hockey national team player trying to beat professional soccer players?

On January 28 2010 00:38 Trowabarton756 wrote: So wait is his name Older Brother Jun?....Im so confused cause I thought hyung ment older brother and was a suffix/prefix like san or sama in japanese.
his name is 형준 hyungjun.
if you want to add the 'older brother' particle it would be 형준형 (Hyungjun-hyung)
hyung (older brother) comes from the chinese sign 兄, and means elder brother (ani in japanese for the same sign, and is indeed used after a first name, like -kun -sama or -san in japanese.)
hyung (of this actual guy's first name) comes from the chinese sign 亨, that has a slightly different meaning in japanese/chinese and korean, in korean it will be something like "to meet one's expectations/desires". Since you are fond of japanese, that one hyung => 亨 is usually used in japanese for the first name "Akira"
Nothing to do with the "big brother" thing.
Hope it clarified this o_o//
