No I dont disagree with homosexuality. My post was speaking to the general crowd. The general crowd (especially on TL.net) being almost completely hetero except for 2 posters? Out of hundreds of thousands.. that ratio makes it fairly safe for me to assume the sexual orientation of the poster. Also, the question was posed to me, as a hetero sexual male. He wanted to know if I fantasize about homosexual encounters. As I answered the question personally, and then broadened the scope to other "like" hetero males I was able to answer as such. One of my best friends and mentors, my debate coach last year, is a homosexual. After many talks and just spending large quantities of time with him I find it impossible to be of the place in mind where you'd think it ok to consider them subhuman or deserving of less rights. In my opinion, homosexuals did not choose to be the way they are, they were born it or they became it. Either way, they are human beings who cannot change the way they are, nor should they. Two consenting adults participating in something that heterosexual couples do all the time is absolutely fine for me. Do you believe in the recently proposed concept of a gay gene? Do you think it is more nature or nurture?
Just out of curiosity.

haha, the last time I made a thread out of that, I got banned.

I think homosexuality can be something someone is either born with (gene form) or traumatized into. I've done a lot of reading on the subject but the general consensus is that there is no general consensus haha. But imo this is what is true

Sorry if it's been asked, but I always want to ask each player on why they chose their race. So why did you choose Zerg? Were you inspired by a Zerg player? Are there any Zerg players that you currently look up to or you watch a lot of his games? Back when you first played Starcraft did you play any other race that was your main before switching to Zerg?

Heh no worries, thanks for being so polite.. but yeah I already answered it a couple times in here. I picked them because I love "aliens" in all kinds of things and I wanted to be an entomologist when I was a kid (scientist of bugs). The Ultralisk was what drew me to them (saw it in a magazine). Never "seriously" played another race. But I have had some ladder stints with protoss... definately nothing big.

Definately.
The story/humor/acting/characters are all amongst the top levels of TV as far as I am concerned. Mixed with the constant cameos of celebrity guest stars and the new plot lines each season I think the show could have AND SHOULD HAVE dominated the TV for a long time. My favorite season is probably season 2. The Anne jokes are insanely funny and I love Tobias.. I think he steals the show in the second season.
|
hmmm season 2 is brilliant. Tobias's decsent into homosexuality over the 3 seasons is hilarious to watch. its as anne as the nose on plains face ~
|
watch dexter. best show. period. you will love it and declare it your favorite show ever.

1. How do you prepare for showmatches or clan wars? Do you improvise on the spot or do you have a specific build prepared?
2. What type of players do you hate having as an opponent (macro-based, cheese, all-in)?
|
1) Who do you like more, Dissy or Testie?
2) What are you going to work? (sorry don't know whether you already work or something else)
3) Can you dance?

1. I have been around this game for a very long time and in my "spare" time I watch replays of predominantly non korean players OR I play practice games with said players. That being said I am very well versed in the styles and tendencies of most of the community. When I have someone for a SM I will mentally go over their style and tendencies so as to predict and even counter their presumed moves. For instance if I play a player like IdrA I expect to need to take an advantage via a hidden tech usually through dropping, in order to be in contention for the victory. His macro is superior to mine so it becomes essential that I do something to equal the palying field. In contrast, if I play a player like G5 I have to take into account his ability to do an "all-in" bo or something more risky like a proxy or stalled 2 gate. These are the kinds of things I consider before each prepared match.
2. I am addicted to this game and I am also a competetive hound dog... that being said I dont "hate" any specific type of player but rather relish the differences they bring as a unique experience within this game. But I _hate_ losing to things like a proxy gate, 4pool, all in bunker rush or something like that (not many more actually). So if a player beats me doing that I will usually be very upset and call them a coward or something I counter this by doing a lot of 9pool speed openings which (imo) counters all cheese perfectly. Lots of people call 9pool speed cheese but they are wrong. It takes a very skilled player to have that bo in their repertoir and remain successful.

1. An impossible question to answer. I have met both in person, and both were amazing people. I have been gaming with Testie for close to 8 years or so and he is pretty much the main reason I was able to play with top notch players and raise my own game through the years. While Mondragon is my leader and a model citizen of BW. I think I have to give more credit to Testie just because of the longevity.. but really they are both exceptional human beings and amazing friends to have in BW.
2. I am a English (yes I know, my spelling is horrible it actually doesnt get much better irl) and History major at Oregon State University. I am in my 4th of what will probably be 5 years at said uni. From here I will go back home to Seattle and teach at my old High School and coach football/write a book or two.
3. Yes. I dont particularly like "modern" dance like grinding or being an awkward white guy at a club but I am trained in Tango, Waltz, West Coast Swing, Salsa and Fox Trot. My preference is definately Tango (sexiest damn dance ever) but I also like the Waltz. Ever seen a woman dance Salsa? You would love that if you had.

If you could go back and change one thing in your life, what would you change and why?

What do you think of the new PTH album?

How do you define a person who is considered to be addicted to SC? My friend denies it plain out that he is addicted, but it is clearly obvious that he very highly addicted.

I would have tried harder to keep my family stresses from impacting my relationship with a certain someone. I regret that deeply.
