I'm getting married in two days, Friday 22nd to be exact. Things are getting pretty crazy. I never imagined getting a house ready to live in would be so much work. Thankfully the fiance is pretty much entirely organizing the wedding. We cut down the numbers for the wedding to four hundred….lebanese weddings are actually crazy. From what I’ve heard from my friends 200 is quite a lot of people for most weddings. Then you’ve got family trying to tell you what to do, then your family’s friends telling you you’re wrong. It gets pretty damn stressful after a while.
We’ve both never had sex before. I’m not too worried about this part since we can both learn things together, even if it’ll start out pretty awkward. I’m expecting LOTS of awkardness. Some advice would be appreciated in that regards. To be honest, I haven’t even talked to her about it yet…maybe I should?
We’re going to hawaii, staying at the Hyatt in waikiki for a week, then going to San Francisco for four days and LA for three. What should I make sure to do in hawaii, SF and LA? In hawaii I definitely want to do a volcano trek and some shopping in the entire trip, but other than that I’m not really sure about what to do. Any suggestions would be awesome =)

Congratulations!
I've been to Oahu before (stayed in Waikiki for 3 days). Never been to Sf nor LA but I can give you some advice regarding Hawaii.
1. Go surfing (unless you physically can't). There will be tons of people offering lessons. They might charge you a hefty sum, and there's nothing wrong with shopping around, but if you find a reasonable price, DO IT. Don't worry about it being too hard: my brother and I were surfing on our first waves. Perhaps we were just lucky, but it probably simply has to do with the specific beach, the weather, and your sense of balance. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to do this with your wife, either. Hopefully you are a good swimmer, because you need to be at least decent. Also, your neck will probably hurt like a bitch at the end, so if you have bad neck problems then perhaps you should only surf for a short while. Of course, if you live in Australia perhaps you already know/ have done all of this.
2. If you go to the North Shore, try to get some Matsumoto's shave ice. They are cheaper (as far as I could tell) than other shave ice places, and they give you a ton of syrup. You will be able to find it by looking for the place with tons of people around it in Haleiwa.
3. I only visited this one extinct volcano crater on Oahu proper and it wasn't that exciting, but it was a long hike to the top. If you just want the hike you're all set, but if you want to see lava then you will probably have to go to the big island.
4. Try to eat at a Japanese restaurant where you see basically only Japanese people coming in and out. They are quite fun and you get a little taste of Japan (there are a ton of Japanese tourists so these shouldn't be too hard to find).
Snorkeling can be fun , but in my opinion it was kind of lame. If you know how to SCUBA or can afford to do some beginner stuff I bet that would be quite interesting. There is also a good amount of hiking around Hawaii. You can probably ask your hotel about that.

congrats!!!!! please make a picture blog after you get back :D

Congrats old bean!! I second the picture blog idea.
As for the sex, here's a blurb I posted in the dating thread a while back:
If you have real feelings for this girl, and she for you, then there's no need to feel worried about it. You guys will find delight in delighting each other. It's so awesome at the beginning because you get to explore each other and find out what turn ons you each have.
When you have your first time with her, take it slow. Don't just rush to the vagina and the clitoris. Kiss her everywhere first. It always surprises me what zones make a girl excited. Take your time to discover her. And don't be afraid to talk. Just make sure you don't keep asking, "do you like it when I.." or "how does this make you feel...". If something is making her feeling uncomfortable she'll let you know. And if she does let you know, it's not a big deal, just make a note of it and move on.
I find that most girls want you to take control. Don't be forceful, just know what you want to do, and then do it. Halfway through your exploration, flip her over and discover her backside as well. Throw in a mini massage. YOU decide when you want to proceed to the actual start of intercourse.
And don't worry, you're gonna suck at the beginning. Like, really bad. Expect to blow your load in like 5 seconds the first time. Especially if you're sans condom.

For oahu. Do the koko head trail! Hanauma bay is fucking beautiful. Do that!. Diamond head trail is uhhhmazing as well.

Congrats! How old are you two btw?

Congratulations! Waikiki is amazing; you'll have a wonderful time there together!
As far as losing your virginity is concerned, it's a good thing you already know that there will be some awkwardness. It'll take you a few times to learn each other's rhythms and explore each other bodies. You probably won't last too long on your first (or second) time, but keep practicing ( ) and learn how to cope with the build up of your orgasm... you want to make sure you take care of her before you take care of herself.

hotel room = naked all the time. this will help you get used to each other.
for your first time, have her do you. ie. blowjob, hand job, ect. and blow that first load. once that is done you start on her, get her warmed up, and by warmed up i mean no penetration of any kind. the more warmed up she is the less it will hurt for her. once she feels that she is ready you should be good to go and you will last longer the second time around.
during this talk to each other say what feels good and what doesnt.

That it's a grind and you do the exact same thing every single time? So you try something new and it gets shut down hard so you keep doing what you were before.

Thanks man, that helps a lot. I'll keep all of that in mind. I was thinking about asking the hotel what to do while I'm there, but figured I should get some backround information first.

I'm 25 and she's 22. Pretty early, I know.
Thanks for the sex advice! I'll take it easy and make sure I ask her questions, but not too many.

Congrats! My two year anniversary was yesterday.

My fiance and I have not had sex either, and we're okay with that because that means we can learn and explore together. It's a good idea to talk about it though especially when you're engaged; what you're nervous about, what you're thinking or expecting, and how she feels in that regard. Don't worry about it being awkward, i'm sure you'll both just laugh it off and joke around. Just be honest when you talk to her. You're both adults, not children anymore. If you're going to marry this woman, you need to be upfront and honest about your feelings in regards to everything in life, especially sex.
|
My fiance and I are also in the same boat. We're getting married the end of May so we still have several months before the wedding. We've talked about the physical stuff that will change after the wedding and she's a bit more nervous for it than I am. I've just told her that I know it's gonna be weird at first and she's definitely not alone in feeling that way. Awkwardness aside, it will be a fun adventure learning how to be sexual with each other in bed. But it will take time.
|
Hey! You're getting married today! Congrats again (and I hope you aren't checking TL on your wedding day!).
|
Hey dude!
I live in Hawaii, I'd be glad to fill you in on some of the hidden goodies we have here :3 assuming you're coming to Oahu! Avoid the north shore in the winter, the waves are too crazy. Check out Kahala beach, and Ko'olina beach, they're less crowded and the sunset at ko'olina is to die for. If you want more information or a more tailored approach of where to go, PM me :D
sex wise: just be open and honest. sex should be fun, kind of like an adventure you go on together don't be afraid to laugh or be silly, it'll make it more genuine weird sounds happen during sex, just laugh about it tell her what feels good and have her tell you what feels good too communication is REALLY important during sex, don't be afraid to talk
spend a few hours doing foreplay, massages, kissing everywhere, etc. just remember: THE WETTER THE BETTER
make sure you make her cum before you do you'll always get yours.
