Even now, if you look at his stream he's playing team games. The work required for Diamond - GM in 2-5 months would probably be constant 8-12 hour days of efficient practice. Very few people have the dedication or the lack of responsibilities for such a training schedule. More like 8 to 12 months before getting gm... Oh well. Like everybody said, allins with protoss are really strong and so gay. But hey, at least, your challenge might finally be realistic.

Anyways GLHF. Prepare for 10hours dedicated hours of practice a day if you want to make it.

might work some people in the MLG Spring championship were in GM in these "easier regions" and they got demolished by players from other regions so getting GM there is going to be easier than trying for GM in the other regions... also you have to be serious about it, dedicate your entire life to SC2 (these 2.5 months you have allotted yourself) 10 hours is not enough 18 hours a day would be only decent like play 16 hours a day, and have 2 hours to just watch replays and figure out what you did wrong when I played Warcraft 3, and was rank 2 on the ladder, I played 16+ hours a day, just to be able to stay up there in ladder points wise (was first to get 500 win random race icon)

0% chance to get GM by his own in 2.5 Months is my estimate and I am pretty damn certain it is accurate.

But have fun trying, it is still a way superior game compared to what you apparently played before, and 1 v 1 is about 500 times better than the silly team crap they put in. lol? NA/EU are about the same, Ive been GM on both before......

Well 4Gating in 2v2s won't get him there, pretty sure of it. (That's what he does on stream . . .) Also from Diamond to GM is such a huuuge step, especially without a good coach, by rights it should take him a year to get there unless he just does some stupid all-in every game, and even then I doubt it will work.

I play 7-8 ladder games a week now which is nothing. I think you need 30 games a day or something?

it is very similar on non high end mmr. i am/was high masters on both servers and i noticed more play style difference than difficulty wise. na players (especially protosses) seemed MUCH more gamble gamble kind of play style to me though and i'm bad against that........ particular way of playing the game....... so maybe my perception isn't 100% right. on high gm level it's simple logic that na is a lot easier though, as eu top players are much better than na and there are a lot more of them.
