I mean, I've been in a similar situation where its a girl I used to know who I am going to try to bang and you have to have an approach that isn't creepy, which he actually has. You see her there you walk up and go "oh shit, it's been like 10 years!" and start talking and joking and then go from there. The problem is you always have to go into any type of relationship not caring whether or not it fails or succeeds and that is what allows you to act naturally. Judging by how you harped on this for 13 years I doubt you could even fake the above. So the irony of it all is the only way for you to get the girl of your dreams is to not want the girl of your dreams. Also, in the span of 10 years she could of probably changed a lot. If you can focus in on that and assume you are going to be let down you might have a chance. No one is telling you not to go for it, but you have to approach the situation with a level of tact, and if you can't do that then you will fail and be miserable. If I had to guess I'd say you are still a virgin and probably have never been in a relationship and I would further say that I doubt you talk to girls much. I feel like exposure to any one of those wouldn't allow you to have a crush for 10 damn years. Without those experiences I could see how you could build up and idolize some girl from 10 years ago. Just know this could definitely be perceived as a bit stalkerish. | ||

She is definitely the bright part of my not-so-bright life, so far. That's a huge burden to put on someone, btw. She's not going to be the 'answer to all your problems', certainly not in the long term. Your life isn't some chick flick (probably...). | ||

She didn't show up. Or I couldn't find her, despite looking everywhere the whole 2 hours. Well at least I got to see her famous father in person. Though the classical music weren't really my type. Guess I'll have to wait til next month. Sorry for the disappointment  + Show Spoiler + | ||
