DOxXzar: It came from a game I used to have a huge passion for: Baldur's Gate. I used to play that game every day for years with my dad. Never did finish it though lol it was such a long game

DOxReyder: nice for those of us that don't know what kind of game is Baldur's Gate?

DOxXzar: It is a Role Playing Game with Advanced Dungeons & Dragons rules

DOxXzar: came out in 1998 or 1999, can't remember exactly when lol

DOxReyder: well I would have a hard time remember that too! Was Xzar a character in the
game or the name you used?

DOxXzar: It was a character in game. A Chaotic Evil Necromancer :D

DOxReyder: I guess that character fits you well hehe

DOxXzar: lol

DOxXzar: The first time I used Xzar for a gamer tag was when I first picked up Starcraft II last year. It took me two days after I installed SC2 to come up with it. I didn't want it to be lame like the name I used for everything else: am10159... Now I use Xzar for mostly everything.

DOxReyder: I would have to agree that Xzar is a better tag lol

DOxXzar: haha yeah...

DOxXzar: The first time I even heard of Starcraft was in 2010, When I was bored in animation class. A friend of mine found Starcraft: Brood War on his computer, so he sent it to me and we spent the next month and a half doing nothing but playing Brood War and getting zero work done. Instantly addicted to Starcraft. I remember watching trailers for Starcraft II and getting extremely excited for it, but I never got around to actually picking it up until last year.

DOxReyder: It's like riding a bike you never forget and provides years and years of joy :D

DOxXzar: absolutely

DOxXzar: That is a really tough question. I didn't really have a specific race when I played Brood War. I was playing all of them, but I think I played Protoss the most. When I first played Starcraft II for the first time at a friends house, we played on Fastest Possible map, and he told me Protoss was just ridiculously OP on that map, so I was like "Lets do this!" I still lost because all I made were cannons, but you get the idea.All the way from Bronze up to Platinum I played Protoss and Zerg on/off. I initially thought that I would be sticking with Zerg permanently, but I always found myself going back to the Brotoss.

DOxReyder: so what your saying is that Toss OP ok glad to verify

DOxXzar: lol yep

DOxReyder: you've been messing around with Terran in HOTS whats the reasoning behind that?

DOxXzar: I've always loved Terran micro. Seems much more entertaining than anything you can do with Protoss or Zerg. However I decided that holding 'A' is not my style I am done dabbling with Terran for now.

DOxReyder: NOOOOOOO

DOxXzar: I just can't do it

DOxReyder: such a disappointment you are.

DOxXzar: What do you want to know?

DOxReyder: Well I'm sure alot of readers would be intrigued to know that your writing it from scratch. What lead to that decision?

DOxXzar: Well I suppose I could have used something like Word press or some other template thing like that, however I have so much more control with everything when I do it from scratch. I can put things exactly where I want them without having to screw around with the template for hours. It's the way I've always made websites, and it's the way I will continue to do so.

DOxReyder: Well we of course appreciate all of your hard work! Where are you now in it's creation and what sort of things are you going to have on the website once its complete?

DOxXzar: Right now I am trying to get all the technical parts of it out of the way. I've recently recruited DOxSquids and DOxHaru to help me out with that, to speed up the production process. I want finish up on the user profiles first, then get the other pages done like the Roster and the Forum. Also I want to spice up the home page quite a bit more, like adding a photo-reel, a twitter feed, and other widgets like that.

DOxReyder: Dedication if I ever saw it and with the added members of the team helping now im sure you guys will be able to knock it out in no time!

DOxXzar: I certainly hope so.I do believe this will be an on-going project though. There will never be a time where I say "I think I have finished this website!" That's just not how it works.

DOxReyder: understandable. With our community growing with more and more players along with the creation of the DOx Forums I'm sure it'll be a frequent love child of yours.

DOxXzar: I'm sure I will frequent the forums quite often

DOxXzar: I haven't really figured that out myself. I like to keep things interesting for myself; sometimes I go crazy allin builds, other times I prefer to just stay back and deathball up then go kill him. I do love to warp prism harass, and that is something that I try to incorporate into all my games now.

DOxXzar: Best match up as of now is PvT. I think the reason for that is 99% of the Terrans I am up against are not nearly aggressive enough. I normally just tear them apart with multiple warp prism harassment while I take a third/fourth base and tech up like a mad man. As for my worst matchup, I would have to say it is PvP. I just haven't quite figured out the way I like to play PvP the best, and I seem to make silly mistakes quite a lot. I think I am getting there though.

DOxXzar: Well that depends lol. I was born in Calgary, Alberta. My family moved to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan when I was 5 days old, and we lived there until I was 8. We then moved to Columbus Ohio, and lived there for a few months. We then moved to Surrey, British Columbia where I lived until October last year. Now I live in Victoria, British Columbia. So I'm not sure where you would say I am from, but I consider BC to be my home now.

DOxReyder: All i heard was I'm an eskimo

DOxXzar: hahahaha

DOxXzar: Yes, I have lived in several Igloos

DOxXzar: Yes, I have two older sisters. 19, and 21

DOxReyder: single? lol jk jk

DOxXzar: No I graduated early in 2012. I now go to University of Victoria.

DOxReyder: very nice. what are you studying?

DOxXzar: Computer Science, obviously

DOxXzar: I may double major with Physics though, I am not sure yet

DOxReyder: eeww that too much brain hurting

DOxXzar: lol

DOxReyder: I had to take a physics class back in my college years and yea i carried around a
bottle of Excedrin just for that class

DOxXzar: haha F=ma is all you need

DOxXzar: lol in all seriousness, I haven't though about it much. I don't daydream too much about my future

DOxXzar: DOx is a very great group of people that are always supportive and helpful when you need them to be. I have learned so much about Starcraft, and a lot about biology for some reason, since I joined DOx. When you join DOx you are joining a great friendship that is shared between all of us.

DOxReyder: Not to mention a kick ass awesome leader
