ZeroCartin Costa Rica2390 Posts November 16 2012 17:14 GMT #44 Yes I use photoshop The floor as well as most of the texture work on this painting was based off of photos, then painted a shit load of stuff on top of it. It is mostly for the startup detailing process to quickly set up up texture and serves as a guide to start painting stuff on top. Common practice on the digital art field, not cheating Mountains in the back have same process, and stairs I made them in 3d, textured them, rendered out, put them in, and painted on top of them.
