EPTWell guys I did say I would use this as a blog for more than just Starcraft. I haven’t played any today just because of real life. I’m going to try and cram in an hour or so before bed ,I need to get myself back up at 6 to hit the gym at 6:30 before work at 8. Hopefully I can devote a bit of proper game time to Starcraft tomorrow after work.
But this post is more me looking for gaming music. I’ve noticed a lot of techno/house/dance is played on streams etc. So I want to know what helps you get in the zone. Being the horrendous player I am I need calming music to relax me after getting cannon rushed every three games. So I play a lot of instrumental hip-hop. Just relaxing stuff like the above song. It’s actually a remix of a piano piece from a wonderful kids movie My Neighbour Totoro. If you like what you hear try looking for anything by Nujabes or the album Calm by Nomak both just amazing artists. Another fantastic album is Donuts by J-Dilla a little bit darker made almost entirely by samples but great at the same time.
Now I know I’m an EU player but honest this blog is open to all, follow away if you desire. I’m hoping to cross post these to Team Liquid in a few days so hopefully I’ll be pretty active for the foreseeable future.
