IPL 4 was one of my favorite events thus far for quite a few reasons. The first, is that even when I'm working like 16-20 hour days, I'm still a bit lazy. Being able to go from my hotel room to the elevator, to the event floor, was the greatest thing ever. It also meant it was easy to just bring food and cook it in the hotel room and save money on the over priced food at the hotel. Don't get me wrong, the hotel was great, but $5 for a soda is downright criminal.

I felt the tournament itself went very well. I liked the setup of the open pool for being able to get photos and the main stage booths had just enough light in them. The highlight of the whole weekend (no matter what your feelings of the outcome) was being able to see a live GSTL finals. I will post those next in their own thread though. The only real problem I found at IPL was that the last day went so late, the players were just too tired at the end. Alive was half asleep when he was accepting his trophy and it made for rather dull photos.

I have to thank Brent and Anne at ESFI for giving me a chance on this one. I was nervous starting off the weekend because I felt under a lot of pressure to deliver but once I got going I felt a lot better.
