I'm not sure what to say about this... Alot of people want the sc2 scene to grow and mature over time.. time like good wine or a nice pint of ale... But what is this all leading to..? I don't want to compare Heroes of Newerth to sc2, but I feel that HON is a great game regardless of what other might say it is a great game, but what happened to it? no one I know that I used to play it with plays anymore... the amount of trolls on hon has increased soo much that people who were dedicated to spending their afternoons playing don't even think twice about playing the game.... the amount of users online is still dwindling from what used to be a good 60k community to what is now below 20k users online at a time...
Was it because of the programmers that made a mistake in the game development? "NO!", it was the community who made up the game... So with sc2 I hope it reaches out to get a more mature audience who appreciates this game as much as the enthusiasts like myself... I hope this game becomes something more than just a game...and doesn't degrade in value over time...Blizzard has been doing a great job keeping sc2 content fresh and balancing the game from time to time to keep the community enticed which I love! :D
I hope for a future in sc2 that has greater level play even in bronze... where cheese is a thing of the past...why do u think high level players rarely cheese except on the very rare occasion... most people aren't educated about this game as much as others... so the only easy free tactics they know are cheese or sneaky play...
As a community we need to step up and help each other out...and I'm not saying there are some people that haven't done this already but it should be more accessible and taken to a higher extent in my belief... cause knowledge isn't some thing that should be kept a secret.. people have a right to know whats going on...
There are some people that offer free coaching such as Wtr1be.com. when I fell across this site I didn't know what to expect I thought it was a spoof at first.. I didn't think there would be others who felt the same way I did... I don't have much more to say as I ramble on... i hope more people step up to the plate and help this community progress much more and at a faster rate than at such a sluggish pace. I hope to see better GG's in the future!!

... Okay? Communities always diminish in numbers as time passes in regard to video games. Blizzard has a pretty good plan following up with 2 more expansions. But in 10-15 years SC2's following will diminish greatly. New shit will come out, people will lose interest... That's just how it goes. And holy shit this was annoying to read. Double tap the enter button every once in a while.

Interesting I've always heard of how bad BM is in HoN, but I didn't think it had gotten to the point where trolls had overtaken the game. How many games on average have someone trolling in them?

HoN community isnt that bad, just gets a bad rap for people who take the game to srs/the people who troll the people who take it to srs.
I've met lots of nice people in the hon community, and the games where I have trolls are limited. Its definitely more BM then SC2 thou
