Getting into casting and streaming!!!

OverZero United States271 Posts January 26 2011 05:59 GMT #1 Hey guys! :D Over the past 2 months or so the "hobby" that Starcraft 2 was has slowly turned into a passion and I find myself wanting to get more involved in the community along with possibly going into the business of E-Sports (definitely not playing, im not nearly good enough, but maybe managing a team or working for MLG something along those lines). But, thats not why I'm writing today. Over the past 2 or 3 weeks, a couple of my good friends, who also play quite a bit of SC2, have been essentially demanding me to cast a couple games and I have finally gave in! Only problem is I have no idea where to start! If you guys could give me some tips on what you like/don't like in a cast and different things to focus on or even technical pointers any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks and gl hf gg, OverZero

FlashIsHigh United States474 Posts January 26 2011 10:21 GMT #2 What i say is it will be easier to get into a flow if you start casting with a friend as opposed to attempting to go solo on your first couple casts. GL tho I hope you do well and develop into a great caster

GG_NO_RE Japan238 Posts January 26 2011 15:28 GMT #3 i strongly agree with the above poster. one would think that solo casting ain't no thang, but it's really hard to fill time effectively, keep pace and not lose your voice. if you can get a buddy to do it with you it will be easier, better, and more fun
