That was a really akward video, the older couple assaulted a guy physicly after a verbal confrontation, got themselves owned by doing it and then the other members of the audience lashes out on the young guy for trying to defend himself.

Ah well, the elders are always right I guess.

Escalating violence is not self-defense. If somebody slaps you, or even punches you, you don't simply hit them back to teach them a lesson: you either use intense violence to subdue them if necessary, or if they aren't actually a threat (which is more likely), you take the high ground.

Totally depends on circumstances as shitty as that sounds. At a place where there are drunk guys around doesn't even matter if it was deserved they will kick your ass for hitting a women. Like even if she had a knife and tried to stab you, some fucktard didn't see it and wants to be a hero.

In general I wouldn't hit a women unless she was actually trying to kill me (although not just literally, but like trying to make me hurt or beat me badly). I would just grab her and hold her/subdue her or push/throw her to the ground.

If a girl just slapped me, i'd most likely just take it. But there have been times in my life where, vs both men and women, i have just 'seen red' and lost control. Instincts just take over instantly with the adrenaline shot and I feel bad after the fact.

I see nothing wrong with hitting someone back with equal force on principle but someone who is naturally violent is probably not going to be fair and let you have the last hit 8) that and of course law/society has castrated men to not lay a finger on a woman even though women seem resort to violence much quicker now a days

All that said I've always been the one to walk away even in situations where the other person has hurt me or could of seriously injured me and I had to ability to do so much worse back to them.

I have in the past, I would probably let it happen again. I don't think I would take it from all women in all situations, but in a huge crowd like that I think I could definitely let it slide.

On a more serious note, I would never hit a girl but as Drone said, restrain her instead.

But if a fat old man does what he did to that guy to me, he'd end up all the way down there on the court.
