many times. at least a couple times per day lol. i don't censor myself in fear of saying something stupid or getting banned (lol) but rather just because i realize what i typed out was a worthless post, even if it was semi-lengthy.

even just a couple years ago i'd just post whatever i'd want to say. nowadays i don't post unless i feel like i'm actually adding something to the thread. blogs are usually an exception to this rule, though.

I always hit preview before post and I often cancel posts after I re-read it in the preview and wonder to myself what I was thinking just 5 seconds before. Cept LR threads of course, it's too amusing to say stuff and see how other people watching the exact same thing you are think completely different things.

Probably every other post with me.

I try as hard as I can to keep discussions civil. I'm very afraid, due to past experience, that something I type will be taken the complete wrong way as tone can't be read. Teamliquid is the last place on the internet I'd want to make worse by my acts of thoughtless posting.

That being said, this post kind of sucks too, but I'll hit "post" anyway because of the thread it's going to be in.

I would say I write or half-write and then erase about half of my replies in threads. TL is very strict on standards of posts, and I really respect what they are trying to do with it, so I'm pretty hard on myself. I guess there is a bit of a chilling effect which is sad; but overall I think it's a good thing, given the type of place TL is trying to be/has been historically.

This is tangential, but in particular I really really respect the clear line TL takes on stuff like sexism, racism and homophobia in comments and threads.

I have nothing but respect frankly for the way this place is run. Good work you ppl.

Let's say it like this for me.... if I were to post like a sane being and to my usual self, I would have as many posts (or more) as konadora right now. We started our accounts fairly around same time so see the difference between our post.

But I only post if I see something fairly interesting (like this thread) or if my emotions get the best of me (my previous rage blogs).
