Whoops, misunderstood the OP. Thought that meant that if you only have 500 or less posts, don't apply to get a name change. It seems like if you only have a hundred or so posts, just make a new username if you want one so much. But if you want a new user name and you have ~1000 posts along with a bunch of blogs that you want to remain attached onto your account, you could change your username rather than starting a new brand new account. Also, it would prevent an onslaught of thousands of new users from flooding this service.
I mean, I understand the logic that if you are well-known in TL, it would be confusing for many people if you were to change your username, but seriously, how many people with 500+ posts actually have a well-known identity? In most cases, no one would even notice. meh

edit: also can the people with less than 10 posts stop posting here, i imagine its annoying for mods going through 3 post users who could just make a new account to get to the people who legitimately want a name change and don't want to lost their plus 100 post account.

I received 500 posts after I requested the name change. Is it still possible to change my name?

I know that I am well over 500 posts (very, very well over)
But I was wondering if I could get a capitalization change, from "ZlaSHeR" to "Zlasher"
Since the rule is made so that people can respect the reputation given to them, I figured it wouldn't be too big of a deal since my name isn't changing, just the capitalizations of it, as it is easier for people to read and write.
