This MBC Starleague took place from September 04 through February 05 entitled "You are the Golf King MSL". DoubleStormIII explained the reasoning behind this bizarre name:
NHN is a big portal company that has many services (a big search engine called Naver and a big game site called Hangame). Hangame is one of them with many online games, from simple ones like Tetris to MMORPGs.
You are The Golf King is one of the games that they made. Since NHN sponsered this MSL season, they wanted to use their game's name as the league name.

The Format
Firstly, each of the 4 seeds from SPRIS MSL are assigned a group, these are Ra, Iloveoov, Goodfriend and Kingdom. The groups were then randomly generated by assigning a random player to each group. Thus the following groups were generated;
