So I remember back when I played sc2 that a number of highly skilled members had the honor of having all of their posts turn a shiny blue in the sc2 forum in recognition of their continuing contributions of good advice and knowledge of the game. I think something similar should be done for the new Dota2 section, as there are a small handful of people who have clearly distinguished themselves from the plebians like myself. In addition to having the pleasure of extremely experienced players like TheYango, Ack1047, and 5-s post their thoughts on the dota2 boards, we also have professional players attached to big name teams posting advice and guides here, such as Aui_2000 and Wagamama.
I think that the names I mentioned above and perhaps a few others deserve to have all of their posts on the dota boards (not just dota strategy) turned blue so that people will know that they are experienced players who give consistently sound advice.
Thank you for reading, and happy 10th birthday TL
edit- Flamewheel should also be a blue poster in the dota boards, but the weird thing about him is that 90% of the time he posts a oneliner and the other 10% he drops a fucking ridiculous math/knowledge bomb.

They are technically called "Highlighted Posters" (my posts are "Blue posts" :D), and yeah we could probably do with some. I'm pretty sure everyone who can make highlighted posters is busy playing Dota though, or possibly asleep.

If this were implemented and I had my posts highlighted I would have to stop posting one-liners. Probably need to do that anyway.
I like the suggestion though. Definitely can help new people sort through the strategy forum, especially as Dota 2 Strategy becomes more populated. Would definitely just leave the highlighting of posts to just Strategy though.

I like this idea.

Best part about this is flamewheel not posting one liners.

To be the cynical guy here, all of the good players post terribly. I guess it would be interesting to highlight Judicator and therefore provoke discussion all over the place though.
Edit: I haven't been following the Dota2 forum recently so my post is neither fair nor accurate, most likely.

Not a bad idea, definitely something to consider. I don't know if I'm really on board with it yet just because the active readers are a small enough group that anyone who regularly reads the forum will know them by name anyway.

It's fairly easy to make a judgement on whether a post is valuable or not. If there are five pages of people calling the person bullshit afterwards then you know it is a bad post.

His should just have a word count function. Whenever flamewheel posts more than a one liner it is a quality post you should read.
