It's that time again; a new season, a new shot at getting into Group Play at a live Championship, where you’ll compete for international bragging rights and a huge stack of cash. The Fall StarCraft II Online Qualifiers are about to begin, and you can be a part of it all.
In Fall, we will be running both Open and Invite-Only Online Qualifiers. Each Qualifier will run in three regions: NA, EU and KR. The top players from the Open Online Qualifiers will move on to the Invite-Only round. The top players from each region of the Invite-Only Qualifiers will win all-expenses paid trips to the Fall Championship in Dallas on November 2-4, where they’ll start in Group Play.
Later this week, we'll be contacting the players who have already earned the right to compete in the Invite-Only Online Qualifiers. This list includes the Top 88 from Raleigh, and more; see the full list of invited players. If you don't receive an invitation, don't worry--get a pass for the Open Online Qualifiers and that trip to Dallas could still be yours.

Invite-Only Online Qualifiers
KR: Oct 7, 9 and 11
EU: Sept 29-30, Oct 2 and 4
NA: Oct 13-14, 16, and 18
Full round-by-round schedules will be released early next week.

You have to pay just to qualify for the event? and then pay again to play in the actual event?

apparently in reality, I was one round off of what I was told I was =/ oh well open qualifier i guess...

also, because maybe you didn't know, when e-sports will be real, best players will be PAID to compete at tournaments
like a 10$ is such a great amount of money...

The 10 dollar fee for the open qualifier seems more of a deterrent of having 600 players trying to qualify that dont stand a chance, While having it stay an open tournament.

the qualifier winners go straight to the fall championships, doesnt seem to have anything to do with the arena

I think they figured out people can't make time to do two qualifier rounds then fly out to an Arena and then back to the Championship.

At least they are attempting to invite players who did not play in the previous MLGs. Nice to see the TSL players and even Nerchio invited.

These qualifiers are for spots in the groups. You can still compete in the Open Bracket, just like anyone else.
