wow! Japanese stream should be fun.

which server is this being played on?
|
Cool you guys are doing this! I always thought it was odd how little Blizzard advertises in Japan when I lived there. I'm curious, do they even have SC2 on shelves in Japan? Or are all players forced to buy other region versions online somehow?
Btw, to answer question above me I saw this on their community page, could be applicable:
SC2JC で開催するイベントは全て USサーバー で行います。
"All SC2JC events are held on the US Server"

Thanks for the responses! Yes, the tournament will be played on the NA Server.
And btw, HUGE thanks to matsujun for organizing this tournament! He is the man behind the Japanese SC2 community, and will be organizing / producing the stream. Arigatou!

Can't wait to see what Japanese meta game is like! I hope it's motherships everywhere.

I think I'm just as interested in hearing Japanese commentary as seeing their metagame. Too bad one of the weeks conflicts with MLG Anaheim/GSL Finals/EVO.
|
UPDATE: Each cup will begin at 12:00 GMT. The 8-person Final Stage has been confirmed for August 21st, beginning at 11:00GMT. The Japanese stream will be found at http://twitch.tv/matsujun - still working on finding an English streamer!
|
Too bad no english stream available.

Really looking forward to this, best of luck!

I live in Tokyo and can do the English commentating for the next event. Sorry I missed this one. I participated in one event earlier this year and had a blast with Matsujin's crew even though I went 0 ad 3 against a bunch of Masters.
I sent an email and you can PM me next here next time as well.
宜しくお願いします。
