The way I thought it works is that you haveto manually select them and notify each individual one. It would be kinda nice if you could select them all by pressing shift and clicking each, then clicking notifying once.
The idea was that the events you want to be notified about are put in the auto notify in the settings, there shouldn't be much need to manually tick / untick the event notify box. I'll see if it's possible to do multiple selections with the calendar control and allow this, but it might be too much work.

That's a long string. Thanks for the report, fixed this in the next version.

Create shortcut of the exe, open Start -> All Programs -> Startup, put shortcut in there.

On June 13 2007 11:58 Chosi wrote: Where are the times taken from? They seem wrong often The times are taken from the same data that's used to build the calendar on this site and then converted to your local time zone. If they are incorrect, it's due to the data here being incorrect too. The calendar is updated every 6 hours or on program start, so any changes should get picked up.

i'd like a way for it to be completely invisible, even from my task bar. basically because once i've put my settings in, i'll rarely want to touch it again and if i did, i'd be happy to just open the execute to change the settings. of course a launch on startup feature would be neat too, as already mentioned.
there is one gui problem i noticed. im running xp prof sp1. the calendar doesnt fit properly in the date box. the right side of the calendar is cut off a bit.
it looks the goods though as long as it does what it says i'll be very pleased!

Bump for updated version! I tried to get the team names / player names / etc to link to the TLPD but the RTF textbox provided by .NET simply wasn't having any of it - it only accepts links beginning http://, so I unfortunately had to just use the race info to make colors. At least the info is readable once more . Also fixed is the events carrying forward to every future year when you browse through the calendar.

I have a request for this, could you change it so that it either runs as a background process/service, or at least so that I can't alt-tab to it when it is in the system tray. Otherwise it doesn't really make a difference whether it goes to the system tray or the task bar. I'd prefer if it was a background process though, but I'm not sure if that would take extra effort.
The program is fantastic though! Thanks a bunch.

thankyou !! i will try it out later today

I managed to fix it so that it doesn't show on the Alt+Tab list at least. Here's an updated version, it also includes shortcuts to the TLPD when you right click on the event description box, as well as a few other misc improvements.

A new version has been released to handle events formatted with TSLD tags, and hopefully a bug fix for when the program appears on the taskbar but not on the screen. There is also a "purge cache" button on the settings screen to reset the event list if something seems to be broken with it.
