drink 2.62 liters of soda (19 years old :D). Oh you poor Americans.
That is definitely not my go-to excuse for avoiding having to explain why I choose not to drink.
But it's cute that you think any Americans actually follow that law.

This is the greatest competition in the history of history. Fuck Iron Man. Fuck Phidippides. Fuck Gladiators. They're all just pussies. I will proudly participate in this and succeed, or die trying.
P.S. Beer and Krispy Kreme. The diet of Gods.
EDIT: To stay awake for 26.2 hours is bad, but with all of this, he'll need something. As long as he's drinking AND staying awake, Four Loko?

Did he say in which order he will do this ? Would be sick if he actually run the whole marathon in one shot. Then eat like all the donuts. Then drink all the alcoohol. And then play SC2 drunk. ROFL
and do the training in between one of these.

Not legal in the US, if I recall correctly.

gonna be legendary to watch, alcohol will make it alot more fun.
|
My god this would push any man to his very limits. I'm excited!
|
|
Challenge accepted. I'll see you in december (the hard part will be the donuts)
|
tlo was pretty dead from lack of sleep when he did his marathon, but then again tlo didn't run a marathon, get blackout drunk, go crazy on sugar, and do tons of pullups
i wish you all the luck in the world and i plan to watch, but i think what i'm saying is you'll probably need the luck and a lot of it to get through this :\

Alcohol + sugar! A winning combination for staying alert!
|
So when does tyler do his challenge anyways?
He should do this as a charity marathon instead. Not only collect money through stream viewers, but he can also take donations for completing parts of the challenge (like I'd totally donate 50 cents or something for every 1/26th of the challenge he completes... ie if he completes everything donate $13).

My thoughts on the challenge.
1) Marathon, now as a pretty fit person myself, I can do one in 3:45-4:00. Not sure what numbers we are looking at, but I'd say this is the easiest part. You'll be pretty tired afterwards but no problem.
2) Donuts, eat 2 donuts an hour while running, after you're done you should be done with 8. The take one every hour, youll start to feel like shit, but it'll just be a mental aspect you'll need to work with.
3) As for drinking I'm not really sure what classifies as a drink. At a normal party shotgunning 12 cans of beer will leave you good for a night, 15-16 to be pretty wasted for a casual party person. Nony seems to like drinking so something like 16 seems possible within a time frame of 3 hours, but having 26 hours will let you sober up and you can drink the last 10 in the last few hours. And if a shot is considered a drink, well that's even easier, as a shot is 60-70% of a beer.
4) Win the games, proxy two gate or 4 gate every single time, he should have a 30-40% winrate even when drunk with it I'd say. Maybe 6-8 hours of playing.
5) The chin ups would probably be the most difficult thing for most people, it's either you can do it or you can't. No real trick to this, I personally don't think Tyler is in good enough shape to do it, but if you can do it, well expect 2 hours of your time doing 26 sets + the breaks in between.
Definitely possible, I'd give this a shot and stream it if Tyler does it, someone else is paying for the beer though (:
|
Hm, I know I can do all of these separately (with the exception of the pull-ups, but I could substitute in 26 sets of 26 push-ups or something). I turn 21 in December, this might be something fun to at least try, even if there's no way I succeed.
One problem: can anyone think of a diabetic-acceptable substitute for KK donuts? Seriously, that shit might actually kill me.
|
I really don't see this being completed. It seems like its just TOO MUCH. Doing half of the things on the list would be an extremely hard challenge in itself. Hope he can do it though.
That being said this will be the most entertaining thing to watch... especially when he gets around drink 20 trying to play starcraft and eat more donuts lol
