Since this is presumably a sponsor for the whole MVP organization, this also means they're sponsoring MVP's two Dota teams. Now, one of those teams is already named after a sponsor - MVP HOT6. I would love it if this sponsorship means that Korea's best Dota squad changes its name from MVP Phoenix to MVP Chickenmaru.

It honestly depends on what they wrote up in the contract. Some sponsors don't provide monetary support just gear, some provide both, and some only a small or large amount of money.
