Get over yourself, Flash wouldn't have had a 100% winrate if streaming was a thing in Brood War
iirc, didn't fantasy pretty much wreck him in the last OSL semis?

That's true, but he would not have looked that bad vs anybody either, I think it's more the way he lost, than the winrate, that concerns BongChambers.

And he looked "that bad"? Why do certain people feel the need to find fault with everything these days is beyond my understanding. Naysayers everywhere, not just in SC2.

Maybe that's part of why he lost that way?

Also, just because it's "online" doesn't mean they're amateurs ...

I don't think he means that- it's just that it's true watching the game is kind of hard to swallow. Flash did basically non-stop harass, perfect macro, and the toss was just sitting on 2 base spamming photon overcharge, then moved out with a death ball of zealots, colossi and storm and nearly A moved into victory despite flash's insanely good micro. Seeing T vs P is such a very hard uphill battle. I think his comment was more towards the fact the he has lost faith over the balance of the game and hence doesn't like to watch it anymore.
Anyway it went over 14k I think a record has been broken :D

No rather I think I'm shitting on his over zealous fan base that has made this such a large event And what is your problem exactly? The fact that a players stream gets it's own thread, TL event, and is in the featured section normally reserved for tournaments/shows rather than an individual's stream. Honestly special treatment is lame What the fuck? Are you serious? We can either enjoy this evening watching one of the best players streaming having fun or we can complain here about random shit that is not even relevant. Men, get your shit together, go get a beer or something, relax.. I fail to see how a player getting special treatment isn't relevant in this scenario but I will in fact just enjoy the stream from now on One can debate whether or not it's fair to give Flash special treatment, but by breaking 13k viewers in a time where anyone getting over 5k is exceedingly rare indicates a massive interest. Flash streaming is a very special event given how rare it is relative to the demand for it, and it's not likely that he'll be streaming again anytime soon or that he'd receive similar treatment if he did.
I can somewhat sympathise with both views here. It seems somewhat excessive to have a huge thread and a featured event and all of that. On the other hand Flash is a massively popular player and never, ever streams. So its something that people could easily miss and be upset at having missed out. So drawing attention to the fact he's streaming to this extent does seem somewhat warranted.
On balance though I think its probably for the best to publicise it like this. If only because of how many people would be disappointed to miss such a rare appearance.
